The staff here is phenomenal; 5-stars. The single star is for Gamestop's overreach in data collection, for simply trading in games. According to this store (and possibly all) you will need to 1) have a Gamestop account 2) provide a state ID which gets scanned into their system 3) provide your birthdate 4) provide a thumb print (!)
Upon speaking with their corporate customer support, I learned that in exchange for removing this data from their systems, I have effectively been banned from ALL Gamestop locations. Not kidding. Customer support informed me that I will be ineligible to purchase *anything* from *any* location indefinitely. If anyone from corporate sees this and would like to verify this review's authenticity, I have a ticket number on-hand.
Keep in mind that It is possible to transact with banks and hospitals without providing this degree of personal information.

Very helpful but don't pay much for games if you're selling.

Not the experience of the past, cost too much, no value on what you sell them. You're better off selling on the street

I used to love this place. But after Wednesday, I will never do business with these people again. On their website, they claim to give top dollar for any electronic items you sell them. I walked in there with $700 worth of product. My PS4 Pro that I paid over $400 two years ago. BARELY had a scratch on it, as well as my Apple Watch that I paid $315 for that again, BARELY had a scratch on it. Now, though I was not looking to get back the amount of which I paid for either item, I did expect the fact that their website says they give 35% of the retail price back for items sold, to be true. Meaning, I should have walked out with no less than $400, putting the value of both at $200. But somehow, 35% of $400, and 35% of $315 equals $51. How? 35% of $400 is $260. And 35% of $315 is $204.75. In total that’s $464.75. So, how did $464.75 turn into $51.72????

My girlfriend and I come to this GameStop quite often. Recently we encountered an extremely rude and vulgar customer but the manager and only employee on duty Rosa handled it kindly and professionally. She is always so kind to us when we come by and is very helpful!!!!

While I haven't actually been to this GameStop specifically, I have had the pleasure of working with Skylar from this store at the one in NMB. He had outstanding customer service and gave me a much better experience compared to the one I had originally received at the NMB store (I do not recommend that store until the employees get their act together).
