Hi Everyone,
I was involved in 3 accidents in the last 4 years ( unfortunately and not by my fault, I can blame 591 HwY traffic).
I was very impressed by the kindness and professionalism of this place first time but didn’t take the time to make a review. Now is the 3rd time I pick up my car from them. These people here are amazing.Pam, Mike, Neal show compassion and caring besides being great and knowledgeable on their job.
They go out of their way to help you with the insurance and every little detail that you need to know. They did a great job on my cars (both Mercedes) and I can’t thank them enough. I was new in Myrtle Beach and did not know much about body shops, but if you are ever in need to repair the body of your car this is the place. I hope my review can help others like me.

Great work on my 2 cars: BMW electric and Audi. Cars look like new. Very nice people from Mike the owner to Pam the manager to Neal the worker. Very professional yet very personal. Highly recommended.

Having been using this family owned business for years. Amazing quality work & great people. They stay extremely busy but I don’t mind the wait for top notch work. I will never take my car anywhere else and will always recommend them! Thanks Pam and Mike

This place is great. They do excellent body work and they try to get the work done without costing an arm and leg. I highly recommend Darrell's Body Shop.

Gotta answer your phone at the very least call your customers back and don't tell them they can come get their car and it's 3 weeks later before they can actually get their car and that's only because you hound them everyday cost me a ton of money to figure out rides and everything else while they kept the car for two almost three months something that took one day

Went in on a Friday morning to get an estimate. Owner said I would have an email by the end of the day with an estimate. Never received an email. Waited until the end of the day Monday to call give them time but never got an answer back so I sent them an email. Never got a response to either. On Tuesday I called once in the morning, once in the afternoon, and once towards the end of the day. Never answered or got a response to either. Today is Wednesday, I tried calling one more time around 10:30 with no answer. I'm done. I get if you're busy and don't have time but just be upfront and say that so I don't waste my time waiting on you.

I have been debating on writing this. Even trying to hold off completely. Give the staff a chance to do "damage control" or make up for their service. Since they have not and it continues, I have been left with no choice. My 2016 Silverado came to the shop the morning of April 28, 2023. I slide off into a ditch during a dark morning storm. I had front bumper and suspension damage, requiring them to also completely replace my 6-inch lift kit. Today marks 10 WEEKS that I still do not have my vehicle back. I have made multiple trips to the shop in person. I have reported them to Geico my insurance company. I have had to call numerous times to ask what the holdup is and also leave more than one voicemail. They rarely ever answer the phone. When I do speak to a real person, I'm told someone (owners' wife) will call me and she doesn't. Or I am told they are waiting on "just one more part". This is the same story each week, "waiting on another part". I went in to check on the status for the first time after they had it for 4 weeks. It had been sitting in the same place, not having been inspected or even moved. The few updates I have been able to get out of them, I was told my lift kit was "on back order". If they had not waited over a month to even order parts, we may not of had this issue. If the shop is too busy to get to or complete jobs in a timely manner that should be relayed to customers immediately. I even explained my plight to the owner's wife, that I am a single mom, that has to work full-time. I have no rental coverage, so I am paying out of pocket for a rental for the past 10 weeks. But every week, if I actually speak with anyone it's a new story with a longer waiting period. I am now head under water in debt paying for 2 vehicles. Credit cards maxed. Cash loans out. I called and left a voicemail on Wednesday with no return call. My father went to the shop yesterday (a Thursday). He spoke with Darrell who again described this back order and awaiting more parts. He again gave a further deadline (possibly next week?) and assured my father that his wife would call me Friday (today) with updates. Never got a call back. Still waiting for my vehicle. 10 weeks, going on 11 is so beyond patient and reasonable. Despite the significant financial damage this has caused me, I am more greatly disappointed in the complete lack of communication. They have really dropped the ball at something so easily avoidable.Services: Steering & suspension repair

I would give 10 stars if I could! Getting in to an accident is a horrible experience. My biggest piece of advice is to research your body shops. Having a European sports car with a unique exterior color was definitely a cause for stress when finding a shop. When I visited Darrel’s, I was happy to see another M4 in the lot with a similar color and it’s looked amazing. Mike and Pam made it super easy when dealing with insurance and all of that, I simply dropped the car off before we left for vacation, came back, and it looked like new. He even had some of the door dings removed! Top notch people, top notch body shop. Super glad I went with them!Service: Body & Trim
