Eric, that came and did our initial estimate, was great. It was all downhill from there. Eric told us if anything was broken or missing, we were tell them onsite. (So insurance would cover) We did that. The driver basically told us, sorry, put it in the review. Regina, our contact person, was so great through the whole process until the end. I emailed her about our items… and crickets. So they broke a lamp, my daughter’s turntable, delivered one of our cat trees and a suitcase (with my father’s irreplaceable memorial keepsakes from his belongings and military funeral) to an address they delivered to as stop before ours. The driver was able to get the cat tree back, but to this day my irreplaceable suitcase items are still missing. We have yet to be contacted or reimbursed for broken and missing items. Positives- the movers themselves, were great. Hard workers, very polite, and got the job done. On the packing end at least. Different group (aside from the driver) that unpacked.

Do not hire Allied Van Lines or any of its affiliates. They will destroy all of your stuff and then do anything and everything they can to try to get out of taking responsibility. Trust me. If you want to destroy your belongings, just save yourself thousands of dollars and set your stuff on fire instead of paying Allied to destroy it for you. Listen to the people who have posted one star reviews. The scumbags in the claims department are extremely combative and rude. They try to make the process as difficult as possible so they wont have to take responsibility for their negligence. JUST STAY AWAY!

I wish I had read the other folks reviews before using this company because it looks like most of us have had the same experience. I too would give them no stars if I could. Before writing this review I have communicated with a number of Coleman representatives to see if they would address my complaints in a satisfactory manner. They have not. We have moved 9 times (2 international moves) and have never had such a bad experience. We understand there is probably going to be some damages with a move ( which we had and they reimbursed us accordingly) but we have never had a move where our items were LOST. This move only from Pawleys Island, SC to St Augustine FL ended up with us missing the following items: A portable crib (pack and play) An antique wooden pole lamp (only got the shade) A vintage child's toy Six pieces of sterling sliver (3 knives and 3 soup spoons) We were told they were not responsible for replacing them because we did not report the items missing right away. Except for the lamp, which we knew was missing right away, we had hoped the items would turn up as we unpacked which of course takes a few weeks. In the case of the missing silverware, the silver ware was not taken out of the drawer and packed so it probably fell out of the drawer some where during the move. In case of the other items we feel they were probably broken or left on the truck since the delivery team was in a rush to leave they day of the delivery since they had to drive back to SC that night and get another load the next day. I have to say the packing team and driving team were all nice courteous individuals but the management team has been uncaring and unconcerned when it comes to customer satisfaction. We are honest people who would never claim missing items if they were not missing and all we want is our items recovered and returned. Our recommendation is not to use this company.

I would never recommend this moving company. I was quoted one price then they raiseed the price after claiming they needed to charge more since it was on a weekend. Even though the date on original documents was for a saturday. I switched to a much better moving company who even charged less with less notice and even apologized for how Allied treated me.

I would give them zero stars if I could. This will be a long one. This company is absolutely the worst moving company I've ever dealt with in my entire life, and that's saying something seeing as I'm an army brat and my husband is military now so I've moved a lot. We moved twice this year due to my husband's school. This review is about our most recent one. Since we're military we didn't have a choice at all in who they hired to move our things. I tried to see if I could fire them before they pulled away and I really wish I would have been able to. Let me start with the beginning. Instead of doing a pre move walk through inspection like they were supposed to (how do I know this? Because that's what every other moving company has done) when I called them to schedule it they insisted that it was done over the phone. I was then asked to lists all the furniture we own to them over the phone and I kid you not asked to estimate how many boxes they should bring to pack our things. The person on the phone was rude and impatient and that was my first indication that this was not going to go well. The packers that showed up were unprepared and unprofessional. The first day I overheard them talking about our things going to Texas, we were not moving to Texas but Alaska which our paperwork clearly stated, after I corrected them I overheard them again later talking about how they hope our dishes don't break because they didn't pack them for a ship. That's when I went to our travel office and asked if I could fire them, long story short I wasn't allowed. So I watched them terribly pack the rest of our things. When it came time for them to put our things in the crates they were careless. I have video of one of their members throwing boxes onto the crate, that's after I watched them toss boxes to each other and drop one off of the truck. They stopped doing that when they noticed me taking pictures. They also didn't bring enough crates and had to bring in an additional crate to finish packing. They tried to get me to agree to let them take the additional things to their facility and crate it there but I refused. They also almost left an entire giant piece of my child's crib that I had to bring downstairs to the crate because they were nailing it shut and were too lazy to make sure they actually got everything before. We finally got some of our things at our new destination yesterday and I haven't unpacked everything to know what all is broken but judging from the state of the boxes I'm sure there will be plenty. The final straw that led me to right this review before even finishing unpacking is that an entire crates worth of our things is missing, and did not arrive. The missing things include two thirds of my sectional sofa, a desk, corner cabinet, bookcase, my kitchen aid mixer, and several other boxes of various things, oh and some of the key screws for my baby's crib rendering it unusable. To say I'm furious is an understatement. If I have any say at all this company will never handle another military move again. We didn't have a choice in using them but if you do, do yourself and your things a favor and don't hire them. Oh I forgot to add that the movers left their personal trash un-bagged in our trash can that I had to fish out and properly dispose of after. They also left cigarette butts and nails that I had to pick up all over our parking lot. Absolutely unacceptable!

This review is a warning to steer as far away from this company as possible. Darius , our driver, and his crew ruined our dining room table , cut through upholstered chairs removing plastic wrap, broke floor lamps, snapped legs off a very expensive bedroom dresser and an antique chest of drawers and the list of other furniture damage could continue. I threatened to stop payment on the cashiers check but was told they would stop emptying the moving van and that I would just have to deal with their insurance claims department Z. All you will get from Ms Takisha Wilborn and Mr Ronny Banks at the Coleman office is an "I'm so sorry you weren't pleased"and the insurance claim is a joke . They offered$200 for a ruined fine dining room table top that was estimated to cost 825 to fix and that didn't include pickup and delivery of the repaired piece.Likewise, other offers for repair came in extremely low compared to our costs. Please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. These people should not be in the moving business with as little care as they take of people's belongings. The company is a division or an associate of Allied and we thought would be reputable. Not at all!!!

Absolutely worst moving company I have ever experienced. Zero customer service, zero communication. Packers left in the middle of packing the house for five hours with no explanation. Getting a straight answer from anyone does not happen. Trying to get estimated arrival for delivery is impossible. The manager, Ricky, is rude and just makes excuses for his terrible company. Despite only moving two hours away it took them 9 days to deliver, and they were a day and a half late. Absolutely do not use this horrible company. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.
