Horrible experience.1. Dropped off Hotel Collection bedding (duvet and shams) and came back ten days later to pick it up.2. The Manager at the DI location had a whole conversation with me about stains and chit chat. She said the bedding is outsourced and wasn’t back yet, so come back tomorrow (the 11th day post drop off).3. Walk in on the 11th day and the SAME lady, the Manager, who I literally talked to hours earlier, tells me that I had not been in to drop anything off since June. And in June, I dropped off brown bedding.4. I say, “I don’t own brown bedding, #1, and I was standing in front of your face yesterday. I know you remember bc I have a broken leg and it was literally hours ago. So, you lost it and now you’re patronizing me. How are you going to fix this?”5. She rolls her eyes and goes, “bye! Bye!” With a flick of her hand, as if dismissing me.6. I end up talking to Patrick, the owner, and he finds my bedding and I pick it up.7. He shrunk it. He does all the cleaning himself and he ruined my bedding. It went in as a duvet and shams that fit a King bed, and came out the size of a queen.8. I complained and he tells me that my type of bedding doesn’t shrink, but he can stretch it.9. I said, “well, it did shrink after being in your care, but let’s try having you stretch it”10. Picked it up for a second time and the material is ruined. It still doesn’t fit and now it also looks stretched out like an out t shirt. It looks terrible.If I could give less than one star, I would. Don’t go to this dry cleaner.

So far so good...the 2-women on the front counter were were helpful, polite, courteous, etc. Now I am waiting to get everything back so to see the quality of their v work!

Honestly worst experience ever. I dropped my husbands shirt off two nights ago. The two girls who helped me were EXTREMELY rude. They acted like I was a nuisance for wanting to use this business. I dropped off one shirt to see how the service was because I have a ton of items I want to get cleaned but want to ensure they do good work first. Secondly I came to pick up his shirt tonight. The website says they close at 7pm. Well I was there at 6:30p and it’s completely dark, not a soul here. I guess when you let 16 year olds run a store you will get unprofessionalism and they won’t uphold business hours. This was my first time using Coastal Cleaners and I am disappointed. I won’t be using their services any longer and I will never recommend to any of my friends or family. Hopefully I will still be able to pick up my items whenever they do decide to come around.

If you can get past the teenager at the front desk with a bad attitude, they do good work here. Nothing exceptional, but good.

I dropped 2 dresses here. The first time they did not clean but just put a bag on it. Second time came out clean. I also dropped a tie and they put the dam thing under another name. Waited for a half hour to have them find the dresses and tie in the back. You are better doing it your self. Wast of time.

Not only did my shirts look great, but I found a strange paper bag attached to my items. In this paper bag I found two $100 bills! I couldn't believe it. Anyone could have pocketed this money and I would have been none the wiser. Obviously, there are some great, honest people working here. Fully recommend. Great business, great work, honest people. I won't go anywhere else in Charleston!
