In May 2023, my vehicle was damaged when a deer ran into it, affecting the front bumper, driver door, and left rear door. I promptly filed a claim and took my car to City Paint & Body for an estimate. The initial service was quick—the estimate was completed in about 10 minutes.
Due to scheduling issues, I couldn't get my car in immediately and had to wait a few weeks. I dropped it off at the shop within May but didn’t get it back until 8/15/2023—over two months later.
When I inspected the work, I was shocked at the poor quality:
Paint Issues: There were paint chips and spots where dirt and grit had been painted over. The front bumper paint job was cloudy, and you could still see the white stock door color where they failed to paint completely.
Shoddy Assembly: The seals were loose, and the door interior was not installed correctly. They also reused old parts from the wreck, and I had to insist they order new ones.
Overall Condition: The parking lot was messy, and littered with nails and other sharp objects. The bays didn’t look much better, very cluttered.
I returned to the shop at least two more times to have these issues corrected, but the results were consistently disappointing. My frustration further grew when the paint began chipping terribly and the seals started peeling off. I expressed my concerns to my insurance company, stating that I refused to return to them because they continued to botch the repairs.
Beyond that, I felt as though the shop owner was attempting to gaslight me, downplaying the issues and making me feel like I was overreacting. This was my first experience with paint and body repair, and I wish I had known more beforehand. After asking around town, I discovered that they are not recommended by most locals—something I wish I had known sooner.
It’s now been over a year, and I’m finally getting my vehicle into a reputable shop to hopefully resolve all the issues. This company is listed as a recommended shop by my insurance, but based on my experience, they should not be on that list. The work they provide is subpar, and the service is unacceptable.
I’m hopeful my experience will help other consumers make a better choice. Do your research, ask around, and in my opinion avoid this one.

Terrible service i was recommended by progressive insurance company and i been told week after week for 4.5 months that my are would be ready and its still not ready DO NOT go here terrible customer service

hood had issues, asked to have it painted, quoted a fair price and they did it.. truck has some age, paint matched well, so far so good... happy with it...

I was recently in an accident and this shop was recommended by my insurance. This shop had my car for 2 months and every time I called to get a status update, the tech would tell me I would have it back by the end of the week, mind you, he told me this 5 times on 5 separate weeks. When I finally did get my car back, my key was broken, housing came off the key fob and the fob was superglued to the remaining part of the key, I did not drop my key off this way. I would have been so much more understanding if they would have been honest with me about the time line and status of my vehicle and if they would have notified me that the key had broke. Their lack of honesty, time management and communication are the reasons I won't be using this shop again. The tech seems like a nice guy, but if I'm communicating, then so should you.

The owner is very nice. My husband had some issues come up while his truck was in the shop-however, the owner was very fast to apologize and make things right even at someone elses fault not of his own. I appreciate his humbleness and willingness to make things right. He communicated with my husband well during the time his truck was in the shop and made sure to have it ready by the deadline.
