I'm new to Rhode Island and was passing through this area. I needed to drop off a package and get a receipt. The staff member was very nice and efficient, making the process quick and easy. The building is beautiful too. Plenty of on-street parking. Overall, a great experience!

Was scolded for bringing in a package before they close by an employee, an older gentleman with white hair. Telling me it’s “ridiculous that you’re coming in when we are closed”. Someone in line pointed to his phone and said “we have 10 more minutes what do you mean” and the employee said I don’t care we are closed.

Jennifer is so helpful and kind. I’ve never had such a great experience at the post office. I didn’t feel rushed, she answered all of my questions, and made sure I got the best shipping for what I needed. Thank you!

If they have mines star I can put that star. The worst delivery service they have. The deliver guy deliver item to wrong address And I opened case about item did not deliver and I contacted with them lady who pretended like manager lied to me they send deliver guy and guy asked all business which has to be on wrong address but everyone pretended that they did not get item. And she told me they can’t help me. And then I called back after couple days young gentleman told me exactly where item scanned. They still can’t help me . It was my mistake to choose their service .

I read the reviews below and felt like I was ready for anything. There were two of the most friendly employees there and no wait. Multiple people came and went while I was there and they took their time with each person. Probably the best experience I have ever had a Post Office

Im able to print my labels at home if there small my postman will accept them.If I have alit I can just hand over to the counter worker and I'm alset!Makes my day so much easier. They are great even if you don't have a printer, just grab enough free supplies.. it always helps if your selling to have everything on hand.And double check addresses if handwritten, I've made many mistakes being dyslexic.. lol

Went to the post office in Conimicut and asked about the Military Shipping Kit, the guy was nice and directed me to the Apponaug post office and said they had them there. Once I got there and asked about it the lady was rude and said they do not have them. I pulled up their website and showed her that they were advertising it. She told me she had worked there for 7 years and never heard of it. Then she called one of her coworkers started screaming and asked why people were being set there when they don’t have what we are looking for. Horrible service and doesn’t even know what their own website advertises.

Don't go there unless you have lots of time to kill. The last 2 times I went there there was one person behind the counter and 6 people in line. Five minutes went by and no movement. People at the counter are asking ridiculous questions while shopping for theme stamps and comparing rates for different mailing options. I also could not buy rolls of stamps (on several occasions) as the guy with the key was not there. In addition, I mailed a certified mail envelope with return receipt and 2 weeks later the tracking info was "in transit". The recipient cashed my check, so they obviously received it. I never received my return receipt either. Another time I went there, there were people waiting outside for them to open (at 9am) At 9:15 we all left as no one was there to open up. Sad to see how our postal system has disintegrated.

package was held for 2 days at PVD post office I guess so that it wouldn't be delivered early. horrible service
