My friend and I rented bikes here this morning and it was so easy and pleasant. The bikes were great, the atmosphere was relaxed and everyone was friendly. I’ll be back for sure.

Purchased a pair of Specialized Sirrus 6.0 bicycles. The folks @ Stedman's were fantastic. They were fair in trade-in valuation; provided us with an online deal that saved us many $$$; and also transferred accessories from our old bikes to the new bikes. They also had a great deal with additional accessories that we needed installed. Couldn't ask for better customer service from a top notch cycling shop. Will be returning to get shop logoed merch in the Spring. Thank you Guys!!!

Great bike shop! Thanks to the team for getting me back into mountain biking after a decade of being away from the sport. The bike is fantastic and the after purchase support has been nothing but outstanding. Highly recommended!!

Rented a road bike from the shop and the experience was excellent. Great bike, great shop staff, and great shop merchandise. If I’m ever back in the area, I’ll be hitting Stedmans.

Rented bikes for a half day to check out the bike path in South Kingstown. Bikes were in great shape and they even came with helmets! And we had a fun time. Such a beautiful area and everything is so close.

Stedman's is a fantastic bike shop - I have bought 3 bikes from them at this point and will keep coming back. Their staff is very knowledgeable, but also great at breaking down the basics for a beginner like me.
As someone very new to cycling, I had stopped by a couple other shops before Stedman's but never knew what questions to ask or what I was really looking for in a bike. The staff at Stedman's helped me figure out exactly what sort of riding I wanted to try and what sort of bike would be the best fit for me and my wife.
Each purchase was a smooth transaction and I felt very informed throughout.
On top of that, their customer service and support is also fantastic. I had an issue with one of the bikes that was most likely a manufacturing issue with one of the components, and they had my bike repaired and back in the road in no time at all.
There's a reason this shop has been around as long as it has.

Jay is the best! Super knowledgeable and helpful. Renting through Stedmans is a breeze. We rented a bike for our beach vacation and were able to check out the RI bike path, ride to Iggy’s for dough boys, and Roger wheeler beach! Overall a great experience!

This place is awesome. My husband and I didn’t have a reservation to rent bikes, but everyone at the shop was so nice and accommodating. They had us in, signed up, fitted and out the door ready to ride in no time. We rented two electric assist bikes to sightsee all around the area. What a great time we had. Way better than taking our car, trying to find parking and finding yourself just sitting in the car on vacation. We will definitely be back to rent again.

Spectacular!!! Service beyond what anyone could expect!!
I was looking for two E-bikes for my wife and I. I found the exact ones that I wanted online. I called Stedmans and explained that I would need to come late in the day and was traveling over 2 hours to get there. During my trip I was stuck in traffic and was unable to get there until after closing. The owner and tech assured me they would wait. Now is when things got even better. I showed up after closing time, they welcomed me with a smile and had my bike ready. While I was there, I explained that I wanted another bike for my wife but they did not have the lower model that I could afford. They instantly offered me the higher level bike and explained the benefits and offered me a sale price that made the bike more affordable. All this being after closing time. Now because I drove 2+ hours in traffic, the owner and the technician offered to stay even later to build the bike for my wife so I could take delivery of both bikes the same night. This was amazing to me that they would stay until 8:30pm when they close at 6pm normally to help me. They helped me register the bikes, get the apps running, gave me time to test ride both bikes and answered all my questions all after their normal hours. This is and example of a bike shop that truly cares about the customer and cares about the business and their reputation. I cannot say enough good things and I will most certainly be back for life even though they are so far away.

Our rental experience at Stedman's could not have been smoother! The team is so nice. They helped us with our one day bike rental, but they also went above and beyond with our questions about the area. Our bikes rode so well along the South County Bike Path - great excursion.
