I attempted to deposit a check, but the bank had issues processing it and implied the problem was on my end. I decided to try depositing the check through the Chase app, and it went through without any issues.
On a separate occasion, I went in to service my account, and the staff seemed to not know what I was requesting. I ended up leaving and going to the Cranston branch, where I was able to get help quickly and without any confusion.
Based on these experiences, I wouldn’t recommend the Valley St. branch if you need anything beyond the basics, or even the basics.

Second Sunday that I come to withdraw money, the ATM does not give money and you cannot enter either, what's wrong with you, fix that because customers have to wait until Monday for you to open to withdraw our money and on the weekend we get annoyed

Wouldn't it be super convenient if someone came up with a system where you could use your card to enter the foyer of a bank and be able to use their ATM to deposit checks for your business after hours? Wouldn't that be a modern marvel? I can't wait until someone invents something so craaaazy. One day, the future will be now!But not todaaaayyyy ?

Wealth management client -$500k deposited in this terrible bank - go to withdraw $5 and they can't make it happen -takes 30 mins - they blames their system but the truth is this bank is incompetent - this branch this bank. The worse!!!!

Weird service from the second you enter the door. Chase, train your people, fix the entry way (get rid of the weird greeting situation at the communal-looking front desk) and hire some people who don't hate their job. Yall can do better and you aren't gonna survive in PVD RI with service like that (it is evident with your completely empty branch at lunch hour).

The worst bank experience I ever had in my life and complete waste of time. As a single mother who has a full time job 40-60 hours a week, I really value my days off and hate time wasting. I went to this branch to cash a check. I usually never receive checks and have an online bank (Varo, they’re absolutely wonderful) but they don’t have a physical location so it takes 7-10 days to process a check. However, I’ve stopped at other banks to do this before without issue before I moved to Prov. (Coming from Pawtucket)I decided to go to this branch because it’s closest to me. Upon entry, I was stopped at the door and screened. They asked me if I was a member, which I honestly answered and said no. They asked me what do I need, I said I need to cash a check. They then asked to see two forms of ID and the check (this was still at the door btw so now I’m embarrassingly trying to rummage through my pockets and find all my stuff since I didn’t expect this and I wasn’t ready)They let some random other customer in without asking her any questions and because if this, she cuts to the window first. They finally let me go but now I have to wait. Which I don’t mind but why hardcore screen me like this if you’re not doing this to every customer? I was literally treated as if I was a criminal about to rob or scam them.After waiting a short while I approach the window and the clerk tells me she cannot help me because I’m not a member of Chase and the checks not in their banks name. Are you f***ing kidding me? So you’re telling me the person who literally harassed me upon entry and looked through all my stuff couldn’t tell me this? I was infuriated, but still, I politely said thank you anyway and left.Don’t go here. Especially if you’re not a member. And because of this experience, I will NEVER be.

I have been banking with Chase for a couple of years now and I have visited a large majority of the branches in Rhode Island aside from the Warwick Branch; until this point Chase had been my preferred company for business banking. For the record I personally don't have a problem with Chase Bank as a Company but I have never been so dissatisfied with service at a Branch until this point. As a business owner and a Chase customer I strongly advise that you direct your needs and services to the other locations available. If you are serious about your business or money DO NOT waste your time with this location. They will only delay and damage your business and ongoing projects with their decision making and inaction.
