What a great store! We got lost in here for over an hour and left with alot more than intended! The book selection is so entertaining to peruse but the stacks of prints/maps/etc throughout had my full attention! I'll be back in the store prepared to spend money this time the next time we're in Newport visiting her family!

An outstanding bookstore with something for most every taste. Many fine books, early to modern. Friendly and knowledgeable owner. Highly recommended by a fellow antiquarian book dealer of 5+ decades.. And counting.

Excellent selection! The owner knows how to run a used bookshop. Not a random inventory. He carefully curated the collection. He knows every book and has deep knowledge of everything he sells. One of the best collections of poetry, fiction, and history ever. Prints and maps too. Not to be missed.

It's a smallish bookstore with some serious finds. If your in Newport, it is worth a stop by! Word of note; it's in an eighteenth century (?) house so it's not handi accessible because of the piano noble. There is plenty of parking around the square if you look.

Just the kind of bookstore I would imagine when visiting a historic town like Newport! Great selection of books, some very unique options as well (see pics of some books I took)! I just loved that it was in an older building, which looks like it used to be a house! I posted some photos, so you can get an idea of its ambience! The gentleman that worked there was so kind and even allowed me to take his picture while standing by cash register! From one book lover to another....this is a must!

Charming bookstore with incredible selection of vintage and antique books along with some newer special prints as well. I could easily get lost exploring all their shelves for hours! My husband and I got some really fantastic pieces, We'll definitely be visiting this shop again!
