Bought $140 worth of merch. owner helpful but gives out local hot spots which are over crowded & littered by people who don't care about our lands. returned the following day to have another pole strung and purchase gear. refused to string my pole (willing to pay for service) because my pole was used they would not consider.

Can confirm like previous report of shop not liking being asked about crabs. Soon as I asked about crabs the person on other line ran a credit card while I was still on line. Couple times I swung by, and no one is ever manning the store. Wouldn't rely on this place to get bait.

I started fishing with Andy back in early 90s when my boss took me for the first time. Now I own my own company and can take my employee and other business associates out. I have never had a bad trip with Andy and now his son as first mate. If you want a first class trip of a lifetime book with these guys. Anyone can take you for a boat ride . These guy will take you fishing. Last year and this year the members of my fishing party were telling each other “ no you take the pole no you take the pole “ we were so worn out catching fish. Warning if you book with these guys get a good night sleep and rest up your going need it .

Great tackle & bait shop with lots of character. Only sells what you need and what works for the area. Always a bunch of older salty locals sitting around hanging out, generally willing to talk fishing with you. Owner is always helpful, has good advice, and obviously enjoys running his tackle shop. If he sells it, it'll probably work to catch whatever you are going after.

Really helpful and friendly staff. Know what they're talking about. However, they have mostly saltwater tackle. So not the best place to go for freshwater tackle.

Been coming to this bait shop now for 35 yrs. The most expensive bait shop around and the staff are a bunch of salty, cantankerous and condescending jerks. Try calling over there, I got hung up on just for asking to buy crabs. Captain Andy and AJ should spends time there and clean house. Worst customer experience ever.
