this is one of the worst agencies I have ever dealt with .They like to make up their own laws and not follow the laws set up by the state of RI .especially the property of 28 gardenia lane the owners will keep your security deposit no matter what They wanted my daughter to replant a dead tree the charge 75 per hole in the wall for 4 holes but only show pictures of one hole .the owner charge they don't charge for the whole place they charge per person living there . DO your self a favor chose a different agency. study up on TENAT rights in the state of RI .

We walked into our rental and their were dirty towels in the bathroom. I had to clean before unpacking. The air conditioner cover panel was on the floor so we didn't dare use it.The toilet seal was not sealed. The toilet moved every time we used it. They didn't show pics of bathroom but it is smaller than a closet. To take a shower you couldn't move, you had to take the shower head up and down to rinse. I didn't call Until mid week when I finally had a melt down. My guest came and she had dirt on her sheets and being the first good grilling day and I took off the grill cover and no propane.Now I called ahead to see if grill was propane. When I made the call to complain they said I should have called in beginning of week but I told things were just going down hill.They asked if I wanted them to come over so they can show me there was propane making me feel stupid so I had to take a picture of the NO PROPANE UNDER THE GRILL!! MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT WAS THEY CHARGED A PET DEPOSIT FOR BOTH DOGS AT 300 DOLLARS AND A 50 DOLLAR CLEANING FEE PER DOG. I Told them I wanted those deposits back and cleaning deposits back seeing I did the ckeaning.I asked them what was my 500 dollar deposit for? They advertise 162 dollars a night and gouge you with all the extra deposits and they did nothing to compensate us.We got our 500 dollar deposit but nothing else.I had to wash the sheets in spare room because of sand. This is my first rental and probably my last because I have stage 4 breast cancer.They could have given me our pet deposits like asked. Kristen was so unprofessional and not willing to listen .She said it was my fault because I didn't call first day. I tried to tell her it was a snow ball effect. I WOULD NEVER RENT OR BUY ANTHING FROM THIS REAL ESTATE AGENCY EVER. I WOULD NOT EVEN GIVE 1 STAR IF I COULD!!

*UPDATE and EDIT* Lila Delman has offered a partial refund, approximately 95%. I am not entirely sure why only a portion since I was in the house no more than an hour or 2. Nonetheless, I am relieved to have this resolved and will receive my refund in about 2 weeks.I rented a property from Lila Delman and upon checking in discovered the property's cleanliness to be less than satisfactory. There was blatant disregard for tidiness for the overall property. The most concerning issues were the dirty windows, crumbs in the refrigerator drawers and grime and dust on the microwave and tv. This is a clear indication that the property was not prepared in accordance with their COVID 19 cleaning protocol provided with the check in instructions. It is reasonable for me to feel the house was not thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between guests if these basic areas were not tended too appropriately.

This was the first time we rented on Block Island. I had thought due to the price we paid thru this rental agency that we would have been taken care of but this was not the case. No one told us that this was one of the most difficult to reach and remote locations on the island or that the driveway was so unkempt that the undercarriage of our car was dented do to lack of maintenance. And I am not saying little potholes either... literally falling apart and people didn’t want to tackle driveway! The we get there to find most screens are broken- there are tons of bugs obviously in summer on the island. There was no air conditioning. So I contact handyman Dave as the flyer says- no response. Then I send email asking someone to please be aware we did not do this damage- no response. It is now day 23, 4 emails with no responses about getting our security deposit back. The woman we called when we got to the island early and wanting to know where house was clearly was annoyed and they were not easy to deal with. Refused to tell us until 4:30 and we had to seek them out after a long day of travel to get directions even then We paid a lot of money to be treated like this. We were anxious about COVID and contacted them many times which may have gotten us termed as difficult However I wasn’t willing to risk thousands of dollars being isolated or wasted.

This is a review of STEPHANIE BASILE at the agency, I have no real experience with the agency itself. ABOVE AND BEYOND. Stephanie handled a long distance (we live out of state) sale for us. We were able to meet in person at the beginning and I was so impressed with her professionalism, her understanding of the market (and the particular property Medway Place) and her enthusiasm. She gave us great advice about what should and should not be done to prepare the unit for sale, even going so far as to suggest well-priced fixtures we could use for some of the updating. At the same time, she wasn't pushing us to do unnecessary work, so she was sensitive to the economics. Before the opening season of Covid, she immediately got going to market the unit, holding open houses and getting sale materials out to the appropriate market. This sale required jumping through an unusual amount of administrative hoops, both before and to complete the sale, all of which she handled efficiently and effectively, as she kept us well-informed about her progress. Our sale price was just where we wanted it (a good one!!). The closing went smoothly, her office staff took care of the paperwork and she kept us advised all along the way, coordinating with multiple sets of lawyers, probate, etc.. She doesn't set up unrealistic expectations and knows her market)- we could not have been happier. The cherry on top is that Stephanie is also a really friendly, helpful, genuine and a delightful person!

I had the pleasure of hiring Laureen Koch to sell my home in Saunderstown. We met purely by accident and I liked her right away. She gave me the best advice on how to prepare the property and she showed it with great knowledge and enthusiasm. She found us an out of state cash buyer who loved the home I once loved so much, and in 3 weeks it was sold. Everything about the way she handled herself was extremely lovely and I wouldn’t hesitate to call her again if I ever needed her. Loved working with her. 5 Star! Fantastic!

Do not rent a summer vacation home from this company, Lila Delman. This review is based on a recent rental experience I had with them. The only reason they get "One Star" is that is the minimum rating you can give a review. We recently rented a property and we had an issue with the property not being as advertised. They also hand you a bag full of linens and towels and ask you to do the work- they don't even have beds made before you take occupancy. We paid over $6,000 to rent a home in Narragansett for a week and were only given 4 towels and 4 hand towels in a bag along with the sheets. The house was next to a very noisy highway which made sleeping almost impossible. I tried to offer them $3,000 and leave after 3 nights and they said that was against their policy. They truly only work for the owner of the house and could care less about the renters. Not a good experience, not a good company.

My roommates and I been trying to reach someone in the Narragansett rental office all weekend about our security deposit. We can't reach the agents we worked with and the person we talked with didn't know what was going on at all. Clearly they don't want to be bothered with college students.

Kara was quick to respond and found us a great deal.unfortunately we did not rent through LDRE because we had already made a reservation elsewhere but will definitely call them in the future for other trips
