The workers seem very unhappy. The owners are pretty bad people, they treat their employees pretty badly. They overcharge food by a ton. The food is way worse and tastes pretty bad. I do not recommend this place to anyone. You’re better off getting McDonald’s.

By far the best deli in Rhode Island. Been going here for years and will never go anywhere else again for an Italian cold cut. The wings and lasagna are great. Staff is always very friendly. I highly recommend coming here.

Used to really like getting a sandwich, chips and a 2 litre bottle of soda before watching a Sunday football game but no more. 1 large roast beef, bag of chips and 2 litre side for a smidge under $20. People are very nice but that’s ridiculous. Plus the sandwich had EXACTLY one slice of meat.Will permanently stop frequenting Pepe’s

Pete's Grocery is pure Americana, the roadside family owned deli straight outta a Norman Rockwell portrait or Scorsese movie (I feel like the characters from "The Irishman" would love this place, but I digress). Step right up to the old-school counter and place your order for a massive deli sandwich, their homemade meatballs, or even the stuffed peppers - which are to die for! You can tell that the whole menu is homemade, with love in every bite. It feels like Grandma's cooking - just the epitome of a wholesome community spot that you can tell has been a staple here for years.Service is fast and friendly; the lady that served us was very kind and made us feel right at home. The camaraderie is great in here - they know their customers, and even if it's your first visit to Pete's, you'll leave feeling like a regular.In addition to the deli and prepared foods, Pete's also has market/convenience store staples. Any meal here is not complete without a locally made glass bottle soda - you'll feel like you're back in the shop's heyday. Don't miss this - I expect to see it on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives one day!

It's a sandwich bunker and "deli", that makes pretty good subs (Italian and meatball are personally recommended) and has hot wings/mac&cheese, stuffed peppers etc. Breakfast sammiches are good if you get there early enough. It's a tiny place with local people working there. If you call ahead, it works best.

Definition of convenience. Food comes out quick. Sandwiches are always packed with meat and condiments. Staff is very friendly and gives good recommendations!
