I catered my husband’s 60th with Ma and Pa’s. The food was excellent! Especially the meatballs, Mac and cheese, chicken Parmesan and pinwheels!!!now I have a place to get catering for all my events!

I am a sucker for a good grinder, we used to lunch here every Saturday but haven't been by in a while so I grabbed dinner, baked goods, potato salad and legendary deli grinders. Go for fresh.

Always a pleasure to see the fine people craft a solid sandwich, hot or cold, personalized to my liking. Lots of choices on meats, veggies and dressings. Definitely full and satisfied each time I visit. This local, family-owned Hoptown "hot spot" reminds of times gone by.

A true classic of Rhode Island, Ma & Pa’s is a great store with loads of charm! They have a young staff that is full of life and is always a pleasure to talk with. The grinders are TO DIE FOR! And if you are lucky, (meaning they haven’t sold out already) the hot prepared foods are always fantastic. It was my first time in and the kids made sure I got my first time whoopie pie! If all of the desserts are just as good, I’ll spend a fortune without regret! I can’t wait to come back!

Visiting sister in RI and always get grinders first thing. Great grinder.Bought peach pie on a whim ( I don't reallycare for cooked peac desserts) . It was the best peach pie have evereaten and the crust was superb. My compliments to the lady who made it. He son works there.

Great old fashioned convenience/deli! Their homemade deserts and cookies are excellent ( try the pecan cookies )deli sandwiches and meats. Their meatball mix is unique- just take home form into shape & drop in your sauce! Deserts like grapenut pudding and chocolate mousse are in deli case- don't miss those or the italian grinder dragged through the garden:) Nice meats! People need to shop local- keep the character of Small & friendly Hope Valley Hopefully the owners wife can make more of those tasty no baked cookies or oatmeal raisin as they're always sold out bye 4/5 Best place to grab a pie ( strawberry rhubarb our fav) or cake for a party or family function. Some of the freezer items are too old or ice covered but I think staff was new and didn't realize that. Can't wait to see cookie selections at counter or seasonal produce next time I shop there.
