Quality, local, independent service that is reasonably priced. What more could you want?
Small but mighty repair shop. Honest, too! I just bought a beautiful (outside) used car that passed the dealer inspection and failed L & J's. Jose showed me all the reasons that my "dream" was a nightmare. It's going back. L & J kept my last car looking new for the past 17 years. They will be keeping the next one that way, too!

My first time there My ABS light was on. Went to this place I like how they bring your car in they don't have you waiting for so long and the price is fair. Definitely will bring my car back if I need anything done Jose takes care of you!

Do NOT come here. This place is a scam. They will try and take advantage of you.
Came in for a simple inspection, knowing my vehicle was in tip top shape. After waiting over 2 hours with an appointment, they failed my vehicle, saying I need lower ball joints. I work on my vehicles so I knew that wasn’t true. I went home, jacked up the car, everything is good. Long story short, I took it somewhere else, everything passed and I was in and out in 20 minutes.
Do NOT take your car here. I can only imagine the amount of people they take advantage of.

My first time my usually garage was busy and I needed something taken care of quickly. They were able to take me in right away, and the work was quick, and the price was fair. I have been there several times since and the experience has been consistent.

This is honestly the best auto shop I’ve ever been too. I arrived with an emergency and they were so accommodating and attentive. I am now going to be a customer for life. I look forward to the next time my car has an issue so I can hang out with the crew.

Fantastic place! They are reasonably priced and super honest. If Jose says I need something done I trust him, which definitely can’t be said of all places. They are focused on quality and customer service and won’t try to sell you something you don’t need.

Over $300 for a standard battery. Didn't even tell me what was wrong with the car before fixing it. If you don't mind a lack of communication and a higher than average price, this place is not bad as they did the job quickly and got my car back on the road.

Coil packs and sparks plugs were “fixed” two months ago, and they broke again and wouldn’t even give me atleast a warranty. Unsatisfactory and unbelievable. I would not recommend.

I’ve been going to L&J Auto for years now and Jose and his team are the best! Every time I have a problem with my car Jose always manages to get me in quickly and does a great job. Just this past week I didn’t have heat in my car he got me in snd I got my car back within 2 days. He’s very honest with my about what needs to be done and pricing is transparent…if something unexpected needs to get taken care of he immediately calls to approve the repair. I tell everyone I know if they need a mechanic to go to L&J in Cumberland, RI and see Jose!

Had an oil change, new tires, new wipers done. Three weeks later my oil light went on. Checked oil and it was lowww. It typically takes many months for my oil light to go on and my mileage is consistent from month to month. I believe the oil change was not done. I’ll avoid this place in the future. I could tell they rushed things as part of the plastic covering for the wipers was still on the wiper when I drove away. Rip off!
