“A little empty for a Monday morning, perhaps that is normal, too often I go in hopes of getting lasagna that is not the yellow boxed one but more often than not I strike out, despite that it's a huge store and aside from some stocking issues, all is pretty good here.”
10AM - 7PM
1001 Rue Émile-Bouchard, Vaudreuil-Dorion“Super fresh! Great welcoming people! I can tell the staff works very hard everyday to maintain a great service and the quality of the food. The variety of international products is outstanding. The BBQ chicken, rice and potatoes(ready to go) are one of my favorite Friday meals, so freshly prepared everyday. You can really taste the quality of all the meat. Super affordable despite inflation and I love that is open 7 days a week. I definitely recommend it!”
9AM - 5:30PM
465 Rue Ellice, Beauharnois“Great concept! The store is magnificent and welcoming, filled with a great variety of fresh products. It is also very well located in the heart of old Beauharnois. It's worth the detour! You will also find lots of gift ideas for the holidays. Also, we had the chance to participate in a watercolor workshop that Marie-Pier organized with an artist from the city. I underline her gesture which both raises the profile of local artists who deserve this platform, but also which allows citizens to access great creative workshops (or others) at an affordable price in a very welcoming atmosphere! Hats off Marie! ?”
“Love this place, new discovery in the neighbourhood. Vaudreuil mostly has chain restaurants and it's a breath of fresh air to find homemade takeout food. We are pretty unexperienced when it comes to pinoy food, and this has been the perfect introduction. We loved their xiumai and their seafood pansit. And the prices are amazing considering the quality and quantity you get. Will go back in a few days :)”
“Been going since their tiny location with the original owners. Always amazing place to visit, and have amazing meals at. The steak and Kidney pie is just amazing. Always super friendly and hospitable. Restaurant is such a memorable place as well.”
“Seriously, it’s by far one of the best grocery stores I’ve been to. We feel the team and family spirit. The clerks are always ready to help us or offer us help. Customer service and courtesy is number one.”
8AM - 8PM
31 Rue Notre Dame, Oka“Staff I find are good. It is close for me when I need to get things.Update April 11, 2022 still a good place to shop.Update June 12, 2022 still a good place to shop. Now that the weather is good, it is one of the closest grocery stores for the people who are camping at Oka park.”
“Of all of the big box Grocery stores, they have the best prices. That being said, their self checkout system could certainly use a major tweak. You have to have one of their people over way too many times throughout the scanning process. Never the less, they are the best place to get your groceries if you are trying to live on a budget.”
“Patient cashier, I had a large grocery item to pack, and I was creating congestion, I have already done large grocery items like in my photo but, despite some specials that I chose instead of something else, $430 . Some foods are made ridiculously expensive.”
8AM - 10PM
530 Bd Cadieux, Beauharnois“Great store, had a lot more variety than the regular stores. Produce section was fully stocked and looked fresh. I didn't venture passed the grocery section, but the other section looked huge!”
“Well stocked shelvesVegetables should be available by the unit for example zucchini packages of 3 when only one is needed. The staff should be able to modify the pack and sell what the client wants I requested to buy 1 from the young man in the department but he said he didn't think that was possible. All the other stores offer it when asked. Not happy with the must buy multiple items to obtain a sale price not everyone is shopping for a family and for those it is not cost effective it's wasting food and money. Smaller families should not have to miss out on a sale priceMore attention should be put regarding placement of sale signs to be placed by the items on sale, very often the sale tag is over or under a totally different item. When checking the expiration date it's not uncommon to find past due datesPerhaps a discount could be offered when getting close to expiration date and have a better chance of less wasteVery good service from the butcher !”
“New owner thrives in costumer service, never disappointed, well located next to Costco. Food really good when you don’t feel like spending hours in the kitchen. The Asian hors d’oeuvres are you die for, the cabbage rolls are amazing. Perfect frozen meals to have in your freezer and they come in different sizes from individual to family size. Love it”
8AM - 9PM
501 Av. Saint-Charles, Vaudreuil-Dorion“I live next to the Maxi Coteaux du lac, it's convenient for last minute needs, there are always good discounts also the staff is courteous and efficient. There are always roast chickens at meal times and hot somosas!!”
8AM - 10PM
398 Chem. Larocque, Salaberry-de-Valleyfield“Warm and always available staff. I have been visiting this establishment for several years and the offer is very varied, all just a stone's throw from my home. Very interesting reward program and offers personalized to our profile. Great!”
“Great store, all the staff are friendly. The chicken wings at the lunch counter are literally the best I ever had. Not soaked in sauce, nice and crispy... Just perfect”
“Just update your opening hours regarding the Valleyfield store, it says closed at 8 p.m. and I went there at 7 p.m. and it's been closed since 6 p.m. ?For the rest, nothing negative to say ?”
8AM - 10PM
50 Saint-Charles Blvd Suite 17, Beaconsfield“I'm not a fan of the new layout but they do have everything I need. Recently the produce has been better than it had in the past so I am happy about that. It's close to my house which is why I shop there but it definitely is a little pricey.”
“Good for food, beer selection could be better, it grew at a point but shrinker again.usually decent selection of products but sometimes categories are kinda lacking. It used to be the top grocery for diversity of products but others in the area are now better”
“One of the things I liked most about the store was it's butcher. Always premium cuts of meat and a great selection. Lately I've seen a significant slide. It's hard to get a nicely marbled ribeye and often times, certain cuts simply aren't available. I look forward to when its returns to it's former glory.”
“Idea place for grocery shopping, especially on a budget. While still keeping produce at a high quality; but still lacking on some products. Could definitely cater more towards the community around them. Overall better than most grocery stores around.”
“I love it for the staples and the prices. From the sweets to charcuterie, spices, and specialties, it's full of goodies. The prices are better than I expected, competitive in some products available elsewhere and higher on direct imports and homemade items. Worth the detour if you have any interest in Eastern European foods, ingredients, etc”
“Lovely clean atmosphere, well-stocked fruit and vegetable section. Lovely bakery. Actually I believe they are very well stocked with all sorts of groceries and you will leave there store happy.”
8AM - 10PM
3000 Bd de la Gare, Vaudreuil-Dorion“We often take a detour for their bbq chicken and used to for the sandwiches but those are now priced beyond reasonable, this is 1 of the 3 main places that fills our grocery shopping needs.”
“Good store to aim for weekly specials. I go there almost every week to buy stuff on special to save money. Most cashiers are good, youngers are more efficient. I use my app every time to receive the receipt by email. Seems that most cashiers have remembered me about the email receipt. Seems few people have been using it. Just come there earlier so most things on special will be in stock.”
“After arriving in DDO in the fall of 2022 and back in Quebec, I went into exploring all the grocery stores around me and tried to find which one I liked best. Metro came as number #1. Fresh food, nice bread, super-fresh meat (with small cuts available), fast self-checkout counters, friendly staff. Long live Metro!”
“Still more expensive than the Maxi but they have some products that i would buy nowhere else. For example, they have amazing people at the bakery who makes absolutely crazy cheese bacon bread. I'll always stop at this store just for this ahah. I also always buy my baguette there. They simply are the best.
Prices can be fairly good with flyers deals and usually, their fresh products looks better than the Maxi.
They also are one of the first store I saw that was highly discounting products close to "best before" dates to avoid spoiling food that would end up in the garbage. All stores should do this. I bought a pie 3$ instead of 14$. Barely spoiled. I removed the spot that was no longer good and ate the entire pie. Was feeling good to fight food waste one pie at time. I hope more stores will do it as seriously as this Metro store handles it.
Old review 6 years ago: More expensive than the Maxi&Co on the other side of street for many products but they hold different kind of products like Sushis (always price reductions on those, it's amazing), etc. Overall, it's always great to have competition in retail stores. Prices are more fair and we have wider variety of products to choose from. Will keep buying some stuff here!”
