TJR auto is the best.
I’ve had several mechanics I came to TJR over a year or two ago because my previous mechanic could not repair my car. And of course TJR could. The team there is very professional, knowledgable organized and clear. Highly highly recommend . The best.

Used to come here a lot when I lived in NDG and had a 2008 Chevy cobalt that always had problems. Coming back after a few years for a tire change on a new corolla, everything is still the same great service / experience as always. They work fast and I've never had a problem with their work. Thanks ?

I came in at 9:30AM with a 2003 BMW automatic knowing something was wrong with the driveshaft. The car would shake in low gears. They had it diagnosed by lunch and called me to confirm the problem and price, and had it fixed the same day for a very fair price. They even let me know the differential was low on oil and they filled it up for free. All I wanted was a cheap fix to keep this car going for a few more years and TJR delivered exactly what I wanted. 100% recommend these guys, friendly and honest service.

I came to this shop once for a quick fix because my garage was fully booked and TJR auto got it done within 2 hours! Later on I had a different issue, which my garage said I’d need a whole new engine and that they couldn’t do it (estimated repair of 15k). I brought it in to TJR auto once more and the owner assured me that my engine was fine and that the piece that I actually needed to change was a recall (brought it to the dealership and they confirmed the issue)!! At each visit, he took the time to show me pictures of the issues on my vehicle and gave me clear explanations! Needless to say, he is very honest, efficient and knowledgeable! I appreciate how cost effective he is and will definitely be coming back! Thank you TJR auto

I've been coming here for years after my GF convinced me (who had been a customer for years prior). TJR auto does great and honest work, whether it's a simple oil change or giving you an opinion on the state of a used car before you buy it. My first experience at this garage and it was excellent.Competent, polite and a no nonsense approach to my car repair, at least 30% better price then prices quoted at other local shops, fast, effective work at a very competitive price.I wish I would have found Tareq and his crew years earlier. It is quickly obvious that these people operate from a sense of integrity, honesty and competence, and that seems to be a rare commodity these days.Word of mouth and referrals take care of the rest. No bs, life is short.Going forward we will take our two cars here for service and will recommended them whenever the occasion comes up.Services: Electrical repair

Three garages told me that I needed to change my automatic transmission, but at TJR, the boss showed me that there was simply a lack of oil, which explained the slippage when starting. He showed me that you need to check the oil level in a transmission when it is running, which completely changes the picture. It cost me $40 instead of $2000. Bravo for the competence and honesty of this mechanic. I really recommend it.
