I have rarely seen a food store so tidy with succulent and fresh products. Hats off to the Provigo Fortin team

I thought it was a very good store, I had to go far to look for this store, unfortunately the Provigos are disappearing. I don't know if they will also change this one to make it Maxi. I used to have one nearby, I liked to go for the good deals and particular products I found there.

I don't understand all these 5 stars. Okay, there are a lot of products and it's big but I hope that Mr. Fortin will take the time to read this constructive criticism and my suggestions.
About the space: Yes, it's big and impressive (too big for its own good in my opinion) but in fact, you get lost and the products are scattered in an often illogical way. Ex. Chips in three separate sections. The butter is very far from the milk and opposite the raisins (?) where suddenly granola bars reappear while there is a section with different granola bars at the other end of the store. etc.
About the stock: Then, to be fair, it's true that there is variety (and organic) but I often have the impression of dealing with end of lines. Ex theobroma chocolate (great!) BUT not all kinds and three quarters empty. Some products appear for a while and then do not return. etc. There are good and bad but it gives the feeling of being in a stock clearance warehouse AND it's expensive $$$!
About fresh produce: In the huge fresh produce section we give the illusion a little with posters that there is organic but there is practically NO organic and even less local, or very little. This is disappointing and in contrast to the offer of organic products on the shelves. Same thing for meats with a few exceptions. For example, a lot of choice of cold cuts but very little organic and I am surprised not to find the organic meats from Charlevoix that you can even find in convenience stores like Veux-tu une beer or at Arhoma for example. Ditto for their organic chicken broth that you can find everywhere.
IN SUMMARY: I always go in with the best intentions in the world and I always come out a little dazed, disappointed and with the impression of having wasted a lot of time. In general, I fall back on the Saint-Joseph Metro which I find more coherent, less expensive and on a human scale. (and I'm not being partisan: I'm new to the neighborhood and I still sometimes go back to PA Nature on avenue du Parc or to Tau or Rachel Beri.) It's a shame because this Provigo could really tick all the boxes but this is far from being the case.

Very complete and pleasant neighborhood grocery store. I have rarely seen a grocery store with such great diversity and availability of products. The prepared meals are of good quality and very practical; the flatbreads are particularly good.

Successful industrial look with very high ceilings. Several parking lots. A Starbucks counter completes the service offering.

It's clean and nice selection. However, we are surprised that several products strictly identical to those sold at Maxi (belonging to the same Loblaws chain) are sold more expensive, sometimes even double the price! This particularly struck me with certain products (same packaging, same origin from the same warehouse) that I had purchased the same morning of my visit to Maxi at half price. We then understand that the higher grocery basket at Provigo l This is uniformly to cover the atmosphere and the higher management costs of the store, and therefore independently of the actual cost price of the products. I therefore suggest going to Maxi first before then going to Provigo to only buy what you don't offer at the first one.
