The returns are extremely slow. You can tell that they don’t invest in their cashiers. Why is 1 cashier doing returns and scanning for items at the same time. ( it took 40 mins to find my receipt).

It is really big. It would be better if they offered prepackaged meals/salads. Even though it is big it tends to get overly crowded. Sometimes the fridges smell bad. They also sell home ware, clothing, beauty products, and toys. The only problem is this store closes at 9pm. Most other maxi close at 10. Other grocery stores in the area close at 11 so I am not sure why they close so early given how crowded the store is in the evening and there are huge crowds coming at 9pm expecting them to be open. I tell them it is closed. They must walk to an alternate grocery store that is open in either direction.

One of my favorite maxis because it has a big section of joe fresh clothes and I like that marque. It also has a big section for kitchen small machines like cafeterias, little ovens, microwaves and air fryers .

Edit2: The new automatic cashier are TERRIBLE. Slow as he**. We have been using them for 4 years without any problems, and now that they have changed their terminals, we need assistance all the time because the system is slow and freeze if you go too fast...
Edit: No cart available... ever ! It is a nightmare to get a cart... for a mall this big it is ridiculous...
Large choice, friendly staff. I shop here every week, no problem.
Could be a little bit cleaner in the vegetable alley, but it is okay.
They use Flashfood to reduce waste and your bill. 50% off some products like meat and vegetables. Great deals.

The lack of open checkouts led us to use self-service checkouts. We had a lot of difficulty entering the codes for some reason because we rarely use them. The attendant was not pleasant and slow to help us. My partner went to ask for help at the service counter and made an unpleasant comment (you have to understand the obstacle course we were going through to pay for our purchases). The "manager" then called us names, shouted at us and showed us disrespect. We had a shouting match in the middle of the store. And we left all our purchases there and left. Please know that we were, until this event, excellent $$$$ customers. It's a shame that you hire "bums" who look like ex-convicts to manage your stores because you have to believe that they behave like such with customers.... Since this event, we frequent another grocery store where clearly, the customer IS much more respected. And after reading the comments of other customers, we see that this is a standard at Maxi Côte-des-Neiges.

Hi everyone, I lost my keys last week. I left them in a cart with my Maxi tag that I use to take out the locked carts. It has a blue key fob and two keys, with a heart-shaped key chain. Any info is much appreciated!

Solid and humongous maxi, one of the cleanest and has a giant parking lot. The only disappointing thing is how long the lines are for the self checkout and especially for the regular clerk checkouts.

The wait is too long at customer service. The employees who work there must be properly trained. A supervisor's lack of courtesy, judgment and promptness does not honor the image of the store.
