Feeling like thieves?!? Possible that the store is a victim of shoplifting and the bosses' instructions to employees are to be vigilant?!? But as soon as me and my wife (we are semi-retired) entered this branch, we felt like we were being watched, a really unpleasant atmosphere!!! On the positive side, we found what we were looking for and bought more things than we needed... We want to continue to encourage local purchasing and appreciated the help of a young employee with a Christmas hat who helped us helped a lot! I like to see and touch a product to see its quality before buying, which is not possible with Amazon, but I don't feel like a criminal when I shop online??!!?? So hoping that this comment will be taken into consideration! THANKS !

I was disappointed to see how poorly stocked the store is. It's great if you want pie boxes or cake plates, but the selection of decorating supplies was very limited. For example, they had no red or green sanding sugar in early December -prime cookie decorating season - and they weren't expecting more. The shelves are emptier every time i go. Perhaps they're better on tools. The selection of whisks was vast.

Ares Dorval is a nice and decent store. It’s good and bad so here is my review for it.
The pros:
It’s a pretty big store.
They have a lot of tools and options for your kitchen tools and machines.
It’s close to the highway and close to pretty much everything.
They have a lot of selections.
The cons
They don’t have most items in stock.
Their layout is not sufficient so you need to walk or ask someone.
Some items may not be the one you wanted.
Parking is weird because it’s on one side of the building.
Not enough employees helping you nor screens to guide you.
The washrooms need improvement and cleaning as well.
All in all a decent store to find what you are looking for.
A would recommend for me.

Very large choice, the gentleman who answered me was very kind and helpful
The only disappointment is at the checkout where the cashier did not apply the advertised discount
I was in a hurry and had to pay full price
