The wait was well worth it!, they restored a 60yr old family console stereo a treasure from my childhood. It now is playing old and new albums and dialing in a station never gets old. Keeping the nostalgia of the old days going that's what Retro Addicts has done for me! I'm very pleased!

The team at Retro addicts restored an older family record changer and radio. Brian’s attention to detail and care for such a simple piece was evident from the moment we first visited. He spent time explaining his process in detail before we even exchanged a bill, making us feel very confident in his service, expertise, and expected costs. He finished the work a bit faster than expected and then spent more time showing us hours to use and care for the equipment properly, when we arrived to pick everything up. Truly an excellent experience. Brian is a rare craftsperson in a world of disposable electronics. Highly recommend, if you care for value and durability.

Brian is a full on wizard with vintage electronics. I brought a Pioneer SX9000 receiver and a Dual 1219 turntable, that I got from my father, in for service. Brian does full refurbishments on equipment and probably loves your equipment more then you do. He replaced around 200 components (removing and resoldering from the boards) and the results are outstanding. This equipment has never sounded this good since I had it and probably not since it was new. When I picked up the receiver and turntable, Brian took the time to go through everything he did and to show me how to use the functions that I was not sure of. He also took the time to explain what I should be doing regularly to minimize the need for future service. All in all, if you have vintage stereo equipment that you love and that you want to have for many more years, RetroAddicts is the place to bring it. Even if it sounds good, there are parts that have lifespans and they are likely not performing the way they were 50 years ago. Also, If you are looking for refurbished stereo equipment, Brian also sells refurbished pieces. The only "problem" is that the waiting list is long, but that is because no one does the level of work that Brian does so it's definitely worth the wait.

Lots of neat retro-tech here. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. I purchased a laserdisc player since I have lots of discs but no way to play them. It works great with no issues. Will definitely have to come back here again.

I highly recommend Retro Addicts in restoration of any vintage stereo equipment. They did an excellent job on my Marantz 2325 and turntable which sat for 30 plus years. When i picked it up after restoration the owner gave me pointers on keeping it running smoothly. His passion for his job comes through clearly in his workmanship and vast knowledge. Thank you Retro Addicts. I'm enjoying my music once again.
