Overrated prices for what they offer. We would rather go to Yuletide Liberty Hill.

It was overly crowded and dusty with harsh lighting. There are long lines all over. Definitely recommend going during the day on a weekday.

Had a fabulous time!! It was our first time there and we had a blast. The wagon ride was our favorite. This was the Halloween theme and we will be back for the Christmas theme.

We had an absolute blast at Shady Brook Farm. My friend and I took both of our 8 years old boys for a mommy and son day. From the moment we got in, the boys were always entertained by any of the displays and activities. Low key, the mommies were not disappointed at all either. We ended the night with the corn maze which was everyone’s favorite part of the day. We are already planning another trip soon.

Cram all five people in the car and drive through the completely worth it light show, it’s very spectacular! Kids will love it, parents will as well, and at the end option to do “Santa’s Village” and, of course, gift shop. The gift shop stuff is really cute and my friend and I , who is developmentally disabled and uses a walker, had a lot of fun window shopping the place and ultimately have by our picture taken with a really neat ce Santa??

My boyfriend and I take our son here every year around Halloween time, to go pumpkin picking, tractor rides, etc. Our son always has a ball here. He loves feeding the animals (goats, chicken, roosters, etc. ) and also he loves the jumping pillow. There are always so many things to do at Shady Brook Farm. Also, the staff here are always super friendly. Big shout out to Danielle (Dee) working in the food stand cause she's always so helpful and a pleasure to deal with. I would definitely recommend Shady Brook Farm to anyone who has young kids and are looking to do something fun and memorable.

I used to love Shady Brook, my son and I have been coming every single year for 10 years+! My last visit was not great. It was so overly crowded it wasn't enjoyable. So many people were rude, smoking weed, vaping, cursing, and littering. My son made it a point to find the smallest pumpkins in the patch. They fell out of his pocket & someone stopmed on them. The guy running the kart activity was nice, but his pants kept falling below his butt. There should be a uniform policy. Sagging pants showing your a** is inappropriate for a family farm. We were told the sunflower farm didn't survive this year so the hay ride just went in a circle and didn't stop anyway, yet the cost to get in didn't reflect that. There is nothing new there, it's the exact same stuff every year. I feel like many many years ago they used to have different events like pig and dog races. Not sure why they don't do that anymore. It's always family friendly. They should have a few nights where it's a little more scary for teens & adults (haunted hay ride, actors in the haunted house & alien house, etc). It's a shame because I love supporting local places but I'm not sure if I can continue to go to Shady Brook ?

I was very disappointed in the purchase , we went the week before couldn’t get in there was a sign there online only . I was on the online site the night prior it did not say that !! We wasted an entire day off trying to go there as a family was very disappointed we’ve been going there for over 30 years . We went back the following week bought tickets online but could only do s half day this time so the kids missed a lot as well as they really missed the fire truck and monster truck rides this year . We may seek another venue next year as this was very aggravating and rude -had I known I would have purchased tickets the night prior the previous week in order to avoid the aggravation as well as to have more time for the kids , never in all my years taking my kids and grandkids there was it so bad

Amazing place to bring your family to for a great time. I would give it a 5 stars however they charged us online extra money per ticket to add the Erie illumination show but they were letting everyone on the line for the show in for free. No one had to pay for it, we could have done the same instead of paying extra money. Other than that everything was beautiful and we had a great time.

I drove about 1.5 hr to get here and with no disappointment! Shady Brook Farm was filled with activities and food, live music and seating. Fun for all ages. I highly recommend spending a few hours with the family or loved one. The wristband allows you to leave and come back in. The food was pretty good and decently priced. Apple cider donuts and pumpkin pie was to die for. They do sell wine, beers and canned vodka drinks as well.

Another option to enjoy with the family this Halloween time with music, live games, food and the horror house of monsters and aliens

Over priced, overly crowded, left within 40 mins after entering. Not enjoyable at all. Wouldn't recommended for a family. Go to Linvilla Orchard instead.

I’ve been coming here every year for the last few years and never had a bad experience. We came tonight and it was insane. There were so many people it wasn’t even enjoyable. My 5 year old was pushed and shoved by unsupervised children numerous times and so many kids cut in line (even with their parents present). Definitely not worth $70. We waited in line for almost an hour to get food which was just overpriced frozen food. Then the person sitting at the table next to us was smoking a cigarette while we ate and the smoke blew directly into our faces. There was also so much dust my child had an allergy attack. I don’t think we’ll be coming back again ?

my boyfriend and I had gone to Shady Brook this past month, where we always order some drinks at the bar and relax, so we go in (nobody of color is in there) and people just stare. We just mind our own business, grab a table and my boyfriend goes to the bathroom. Meanwhile I try to order some drinks and the (White) man at the register asks for my ID, mind you my ID was in the car and I had my laptop and things so i couldn’t just leave. So my boyfriend comes back and tries to order but the man refuses to give us anything until he sees my ID. I go to the car to retrieve my ID and demonstrate it to the man and so he finally gives us the drink and as i walk away he says “That wasn’t so hard was it?” and laughs. So this could also be a prime example because more young women (not of color) were there and didn’t get asked for an ID except myself. This man had glasses and was a little on the chubby side horrible! I will never be coming back here again.
