“This gym has an awesome environment, and the staff makes sure to connect with you as soon as you walk through the door! I highly recommend if you are interested in a great workout with good people”
“Was a part of this gym for a year during my stay in Pittsburgh. The gym is clean, well maintained with a wide array of equipments to suit your needs. Also, Sameer is an amazing manager who is always willing to help you with anything and makes good small talks. Overall a great experience and highly recommend this place”

921 Freeport Rd, Pittsburgh“Management and staff extremely friendly and helpful. Friendly fun environment overall, I highly recommend. Huge shout out to coach Frank, not only did he help me lose 70 pounds he has helped me pack on gaining muscle.”
“The sense of accomplishment you get at this gym is very special -- whether you're there for classes or personal training. The trainers are personable and know their stuff. I've been working with Isaac Callihan for more than a year. He has taken the time to understand my fitness goals and plans out every minute of our workout time to ensure the best possible result.”
“Love love love Level Red Boxing. Finally took the leap a few months ago to try a class. I’ve been going once a week since due to living further north. Erin was super helpful after my first class. She reached out the following day to see if I had any questions and thank us for joining. All of the instructors are great. Seeing as we don’t have a consistent day to go we’ve rotated through a handful. They all have their own unique style and vibe which I love.Great atmosphere and workout if you’re looking to try something new! ??? i usually do the 60 minute class and its a great combination of cardio, boxing, kettlebells and core. Total body workout, who doesn’t love that!”
“This is probably the most laid-back and friendly gym I've ever been to. I've done personal training with both Mike and Blake, and I've benefitted greatly from their assistance and direction.”
“Wherever you go, the personnel are all the same - top notch, second-to-none. I walked in and immediately knew that I wanted to be a member of this gym in particular. Case in point, "Wendy" couldn't have been more helpful. She was an exemplar in courtesy, professionalism and expedience. I am a tech dinosaur. On startup, smoke occasionally billows out from my computer. My occupational therapist often checks me for opposable thumbs. Wendy told me exactly what to do, in order to change my account. Worked like a charm. The gym itself is in a financially distressed area, but it's like walking into an oasis. This gym screams cleanliness and state-of-the-art equipment. Honestly, I feel fortunate to have discovered this gym.”

“My wife was attending Tedesco Body Shop her personal trainer was NAT. She asked me to attend her fitness training sessions. This is what I learned over the past few months about why you need a good fitness trainer:1. Knowledge – Nat is very knowledgeable in his field. This saves me time on researching workouts. Nat is passionate about helping you become a better version of yourself.2. Motivation – Nat takes his job serious. Nat is always in an upbeat mode. He is approachable.3. Listens – Nat listens when I say I have pain. Nat finds ways to adapt the training routine around the pains I may be experiencing. He is flexible to my issues on the fly.4. Nat shows great Empathy and patience when teaching new fitness routines. All in all, I have found a knowledgeable fitness trainer that listens. My work outs will continue to be at Tedesco Body Shop.”

111 Allegheny Ave, Oakmont“Fred has been my Personal Trainer 3 times a week since early May. I have seen dramatic results in not only my weight but Mental Health. He has even given me things to work on when I come in alone. I would definitely recommend Fred if you need someone to not only help you with exercise, but if you want to change your lifestyle.”
“As a collegiate athlete looking to find a way to get back in shape; once college was over. I found Rugged Peaks to be the best decision I have made. It gives you the challenge needed to reach your goals and there are many events that can bring your competitive edge out again (however that's not the main focus). The community within the gym is super supportive and the owners are willing to work with you at any point of your fitness journey. I find myself needing to modify some of the workouts; Adam and Jamie, are always helpful and knowledgeable of ways you can still get an effective workout even if you need to modify. My confidence in myself and just overall boost of energy throughout my day to day has increased significantly since I made the leap to get back into fitness. I think its also super important to keep in mind, that even though CrossFit is intimidating it truly is for people at all stages of their fitness journey. I love how the main aspect of CrossFit is to ensure that your movements are correct, in aims to limit injuries.”
“This is my go to gym, full of good vibes and nice staff. I attend training classes with some of the most experienced trainers. I recommend this gym, they have a variety of fitness options. Thanks Fit But Fit Crew!”

1776 Golden Mile Hwy, Monroeville“As a mom of 4 I rarely find the time to workout at home without interruption, Burn has allowed me to focus on my health and wellness while all of my littles (ages 7,5,3,&9m) soak in the amazing interactions during child watch.
They offer multiple options for memberships, and it includes focus meetings and childwatch. Yes it is a little more expensive than a normal gym membership but you are getting personal training and one on one meetings all while crushing your goals in just 45 minutes… you pay a little more but you get a LOT more.”
“This is a personalized gym setting. There is no office desk to deal with. Kadee, the owner, is accommodating to your needs, respectful, and easy to deal with. Everybody is friendly. Despite its small size, you have all the cardio and strength equipment you need to get a great workout. You don't have to deal with heavy foot traffic and fight over machines. Great gym and atmosphere!”

6595 Hamilton Ave, Pittsburgh“Great facility, fair (if not cheap for Crossfit) prices, and most importantly, fantastic people. The owners, the other coaches, and the athletes are friendly and helpful. There are elite level athletes, but the community is equally welcoming to beginners like me just trying to stay healthy.I don't go anymore, but I was passing back through town and recalled the great experiences I had here. Of the six boxes I've been a member of over the years, I think of Crossfit Pittsburgh as the standard to meet.”
“Good oldschool gym, everybody goes in to move weight get in shape and push themselves and each other. Not a popularity contest or Instagram photo shoot either highly recommend”
“Love this location! When I'm there in the evening, Cullen is always so friendly and helpful when needed. And my little girl loves coming to daycare when Lindsay is back there in the day. It's a great motivater to get me there and to work out.”
“Love that I can just pay for a drop-in and not have to have a monthly membership. My daughter plays next door and this gym is perfect for my workouts during her practices.”
“My granddaughter is taking swimming lessons here. EVERY instructor not only wants her to learn to swim but is so attentive, encourages, and praises her. And to me too, as I watch the progress she's made. Awesome people there! A girl who was afraid of water can't wait to go each week!
Besides swimming classes, they offer family memberships and have great exercise programs for seniors, including yoga, spinning, and more. It is an amazing place with amazing people. I wish I could name them all. Just know you are ALL greatly appreciated for all you do. Thank you! (My special thanks to Jeannie and Veronica)”
