Schiels is a convenient supermarket. Friendly and has many, but not all the items that I need. Prices are a little higher than average.

Nice sized store excellent butcher section, cold cuts and bakery too. Produce section is very nice but a little pricey. Staff are top notch and plenty of registers always open.

I like Schiel's because they have better prices on meat than most of the other grocery stores in the area. The staff are very friendly and they carry a large selection of different kinds of beer. On a hot summer day there's nothing like grilling a steak and having a nice cold beer. The best thing about that statement is you can get both right here. And I suggest you give their sweet sausage a try, I think you won't be disappointed. Good luck!

The George Ave location is our go to market for 80% of our purchases. Like most people, we do shop around for sale prices at other stores and do some bulk items at Sam's Club, but this is the place. When they opened that store in Dec 2012 among other things, we couldn't believe how much the deli dept stood out. Prices were good throughout the store and everyone that works there are always great. They are consistent and one of the managers, Jen, (if there's more than one) is great. She always seems to know exactly what's going on around the store and not afraid to jump in and do physical work herself. So, bravo and definitely 5 stars from this end!

Sweet, young girl named Lauren at the front end was so extremely helpful and patient. She entertained my son while I ran to grab the cucumbers I had forgotten. She was courteous and kind and I could tell she just genuinely enjoys helping people. This girl deserves a raise!

They have so many options and always good sales. Never had someone assist me that was mean or unhelpful. Always a great place to stop for groceries.

Employees are usually friendly, the store is clean, and they usually have some really good sales. Most importantly, they have my Farmer’s Iced Tea!

Decent selection....friendly folk for sure....OK prices. Produce seems to go bad rather quickly unless packed in air tight containers immediately upon coming home.

Definitely a family market offering a wide variety of produce, meats, canned goods, fresh bakery items, dairy and household items. Also has some unique and speciality items. We are always checking the weekly flyer for specials.State Liquor Store is conveniently connected to the store for all your liquor and wine purchases.My destination for grocery shopping

Best fresh bones in the meat case for soup or dogs. They updated the produce area in 2023 and it is a better layout. Deli very popular, good prices. Meat and poultry excellent. The only downside is the aesthetics and often they don't have items in stock.

We started going to Schiell's after Gerrity's dropped the Best Yet brand recently. Love it! They're pricing is comparable to the original (b4 recent changes) Gerrity's. Store is clean, can find items fairly easily, employees are courteous. The Lunchmeat & meat department are always stocked well,, & of good quality. It is much further for us, but the savings are worth it. Their baked goods are just as good as Gerrity's, although they do not have the in-house doughnuts which are better than donut chains, that Gerrity's has. Highly recommend Schiell's.
