By far and away new people that own this business are the worst. They screwed up alteration and then said they did not do the work. Said was not in computer. What a joke avoid at all costs rude and arrogant. Would give way lower rating than 1 star if I could.

Not ready on the day stated on the slip. Just said come back, no apologies. Came back next day: I watched her look for it, then ask someone in the back , then came out with it and put it in plastic. She told me the price, but it was actually more after I paid for a credit card upcharge. When I questioned, she just pointed to a small sticker. When I started to say I wouldn't return due to timeliness, etc, she just yelled 'fine, fine, fine' and turned her back on me and walked away. Both issues wouldn't have been so bad if treated courteously with apologies. When I got home, there was hair all over it (they often have dogs loose in there). Years ago, this place was great. Extremely disappointed.

They had an unleashed Doberman sitting behind the counter when I went to pick up my blanket and he kept barking at my kids. Very dangerous to have a Doberman who gets anxious around kids at a public space. Needless to say we are not coming back.

Best place for me to go for my pants to be hemmed, fast and fairly priced...fast, friendly service I 100% recommend this cleaners for all your dry cleaning and sewing needs

I went in and and before I even put the cloths down some really rude, obnoxious women just started telling me “no, no, no, we can’t clean this.” I was confused by how awful this person was. I was in disbelief. I wouldn’t recommend going here.

I've been a customer for almost 2 years. The lady asked me to pay in advance this time, as she said nobody was picking up their dry cleaning. So to be nice, I paid in advance. And she said my stuff would be ready on Saturday at 5. The slip said Saturday at 5 pm.....THEY CLOSE AT 4 ON SATURDAYS! Needless to say, I went there after 4 on Saturday, and had to make another trip back. When I returned, she tried to make me pay again - I told her I already did, and showed her the credit card receipt. Then I asked why she would tell me to come on Saturday at 5. I pointed out that the slip also said Saturday at 5.....She started YELLING at me. Said she never said that. "I never say 5!"But yet, she did.I took my clothes and told her I wouldn't ever be back."GOOD", she yelled at me.I will happily find another dry cleaner....I suggest you do the same.

Very disappointed. The one lady is completely unprofessional and literally started mocking me as I was looking through my clothes to make sure all my items were accounted for. She then proceeded to tell me that I was just looking for trouble and got loud. It appears I have a hole in my blazer that was allegedly there beforehand and the stains on the cuffs of my shirt I need to clean myself with bleach as told to by the owner even though I specifically asked for them to be cleaned when dropping off. It's ashame you pay for a service and you get nothing and they still expect you to pay. Of course I did pay. Ever since the new ownership I've had nothing but bad experiences at this place. The owner just gets loud and makes excuses and does not take ownership for any wrong doings. I gave her another chance and she failed. I will not be going back again. Everybody else is warned just because they do a lot of business doesn't mean they do good work. It's a shame that there's not another place that's close by that folks could go to to get better services.

I have been using Sky Cleaners since they opened in Kennett?25+years agoThis ownership is not even near the standards of the original businessIn the last year they have lost several pieces of clothing, and told, each time that I had not brought them to be cleaned. As I did not take a picture of every item—it is my words against theirs. I had several pieces of clothing altered, and had to have them re-altered. All of these items were more or less one of a kind, and not inexpensiveI have also (as one of the reviews) experienced going in to pick up clothing, things not ready, or getting partial ordersThis most recent encounter, I was told one of the items I had dropped off, was the missingitem (they had also tried to tell me a sweaterwas the missing pants—/it was the same color)Yesterday, after my second visit to get my missing wool slacks—-did not get—-I was told they did not have problems with anyone else—I am the only one!SO, I recommend—if you use this cleaner—take pictures of each individual item—and even then you could be told you did not drop it off. Good luck to you

DO NOT LEAVE any clothes you need. They didn’t have 1 dress shirt ready when promised after 1 week. Told me it’d be ready the next day. Went back the next WEEK (today) & they still can’t find it. I patiently waited & even tried to help them look. When I told the woman we needed it for a funeral tomorrow she yelled “when did he die?” and accused me of lying. Unbelievably awful service.

Got a quote on getting a zipper replaced and Thought it was high and said no thanks and she said just go home. Stay away from this place. I wanted to get a coat cleaned also but never had a chance to ask. Wouldn’t of got it cleaned with them anyway

Used to bring our clothes here for several years and it was great until the new owners took over earlier this year. The second time I went to pick up my items from them, they insisted they didn’t have anything. Luckily, I happened to still have my ticket with me, and once I showed her that, she found my couple of items and handed them to me wordlessly. My husband went a few days later to drop off some shirts and had the same thing happen when he went to pick them up, only this time we could not find the ticket. Never got the shirts back and no apology again, either. Rude, unprofessional, and not worth the BS you have to deal with. Found a new one nearby and have been very pleased. Do yourself a favor and do not give them your business unless you don’t need your clothing back.
