I always get great quality installation from many of their different locations, but today I saw something that takes a 5 star company to a 2 star company. The Technician claimed damage on pre-inspection when there was no damage at all, in case they cause damage they can say it was already there. Fraudulent! Liability! Take pictures before and after!

I originally had some scheduling issues due to weather but they were flexible and allowed me to come to their shop for the repair. My rear window was replaced and it turned out great! I was surprised at how fast it was completed. Staff was super nice and thoroughly went over the job with me. Great service!

The Safelite Shop on Gay Street in West Chester, PA is a great place to get your windshield repaired or replaced. I recently needed to have my windshield replaced (Paying out of pocket) and they were professional from the minute that Julia & Jim greeted me at the receptionist desk until Thomas the technician handed the car back to me looking like new. They could not have been more friendly and helpful. Pricing was great as well. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Is zero stars an option? two unsuccessful visits from a repairman, only to learn that the vehicle needed to be brought into the shop as it has a heated window. When we attempted to drop the car off the evening before we were informed that it needed to be dropped off in another state (DE). We were to drop the vehicle off (again) this evening but received a call rescheduling the appointment....

No communication at all for 5 months while waiting for a back ordered wind shield. After finally getting an appointment they damaged the body of my brand new truck and are taking zero responsibility for it and didn’t mention anything about noticing major dents in the area before starting work.

I am so angry with Safelite West Chester. I had an appointment scheduled for Friday afternoon between 1:30 and 5:30 and I took the afternoon off of work. At 4:00 PM I called to get an ETA. They told me the technician was having problems at another appointment and was delayed. They never called to say that, to reschedule, and to tell me that I shouldn't wait around for their arrival. They said he would arrive at my location "after 6:00 PM." or, they said, he could come on Saturday morning. I am not available. It is 6:45 PM and the technician never showed up. I can't speak with anyone because it is outside of their Monday to Friday hours. This is unprofessional and incredibly inconsiderate.[Update:]The technician arrived at my location at 8:45 PM. Fortunately I had removed the old windshield and had the car prepared to receive the new one and I have a garage to work in. Between the two of us we had the new glass installed in under an hour. Not only did I waste and entire afternoon waiting, I missed dinner with my returning college daughter. This was not the technician's fault. I felt badly for him. The fault lies entirely with the office management. This should have been rescheduled the minute they knew the technician wouldn't be there before 5:30. There is no reason we should have been installing a windshield at 9 on a Friday night.

Needed a windshield replacement and by looking online I thought to go forward with Safelite remote installation option. My experience with the Safelite West Chester isn't what I was expecting, First they didn't gave me the option to split my payments between my cards and forced me to make into single payment which I feel isn't good. Next I like the way they send you the technician details via email to make sure who is going to work on your car. But in my case the person who I see in the email isn't the one who worked on my car.The technician was given an very old outdated Tab that he needs to work for re-caliber the windshield, which never worked. Then I have to drive the technician and my car to Safelite West Chester to get my recalibration done. Which I want to avoid in first place and the reason to go with remote installation. The MAIN issue is that the windshield I received on my car isn't an original company part which resulted in air gap and makes noise on freeways. I was trying to use their "Life-Time Warranty" to get it replaced and have OEM (Original company parts) parts took me 3 to 4 calls to customer care with few days gap in between each call and still unable to get an appointment scheduled, as every time they would say we are going to call back with part availability and schedule an appointment. I have never received any call back yet, its been 10-15 days with my last 4th call to the customer care.If there is an option to give negative stars that's what i would prefer instead of the one star.

Wait time was longer than anticipated but overall the work was completed in a clean and professional manner. Chip in windshield was sealed and actually the overall appearance was reduced slightly which was an added plus. Recommend dropping off over waiting if possible.

My wife had a crack in her windshield from a rock on the highway so we called our insurance for replacement. Daniel from Safelite came out and WOW… he was so professional and courteous and explained what was needed to be done. I would highly recommend using this location and if you get Daniel, then you won’t be disappointed

Highly recommend. They were very professional. I dropped my Mercedes off at 9:30 and they were done by noon. They charged me $975 which was great compared to the $1700 Mercedes wanted. Most importantly, they effectively recalibrated my windshield which a lot of places don’t do!!!! Thank you Safelite!

I had to wait an extra 3 days from my initial appointment because my windshield never arrived at their location. After install, my windshield was all smeared up on the inside from whatever they used to "clean it". I ended up cleaning it myself a couple days later.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the service I have (or more like have not) received from Safelite AutoGlass over the past few weeks. I recently scheduled an appointment to repair my car window, and unfortunately, the entire experience has been nothing short of a series of mishaps, inefficiency, and a lack of communication. Initial Appointment Cancellation: My ordeal began when Safelite canceled my initial appointment on the day of service without any prior notice or explanation. This unexpected cancellation caused significant inconvenience to my schedule, and it was a clear demonstration of a lack of respect for their customers' time. Two-Week Rescheduling Delay: Following the cancellation, it took Safelite an excruciating two weeks to reschedule my appointment. During this period, I had to endure the inconvenience of a damaged car window without any clear communication from Safelite regarding the reasons for the delay or any attempt to expedite the process. Incorrect Window Replacement: When Safelite finally arrived for the repair, they brought the wrong window, further compounding the issues I had faced. This mistake reflects a lack of attention to detail and proper quality control within your company. Inadequate Communication and Apology: Throughout this entire experience, I found Safelite's communication to be severely lacking. There was no effort made to keep me informed about the status of my appointment or the reasons for these numerous errors. Equally disappointing was the absence of any sincere apology for the inconveniences I had endured. Additional Scheduling Error: To my disbelief, when I rescheduled the appointment for the next day as suggested by Safelite, I arrived at the scheduled time only to discover that this appointment, too, was a mistake on Safelite's part. This level of inefficiency and disregard for customers is unacceptable. In light of these experiences, I expected a much higher level of professionalism and customer service from Safelite AutoGlass. I am deeply dissatisfied with the way these matters were handled and the lack of accountability demonstrated by your team.I also can't seem to communicate with anyone from the company directly. When I call the customer service line I can never talk to a real person. I wouldn't bother with them.

Used them to have my Mercedes GL550's windshield replaced through insurance. They were professional and very communicative. We dropped the car off the night before and was told it would be done the following day. The job was completed within the time frame they gave me and the job itself seemed to be done well. My issue with them is I spoke to 2 different people the day of the service, letting them know that we would not be able to get to the car before they closed. We have the spare key, so I asked if they could just lock the car and leave the key inside. They told me that wasn't a problem. We got there later on that evening and our vehicle was sitting out front windows down, doors unlocked and key just laying in the cupholder. They could have at least attempted to try and lock my vehicle up. I know Mercedes has safety features they can stop you from locking your key inside your car, but leaving the windows down and all 4 doors unlocked was ridiculous. They're lucky someone didn't steal my car or we would have bigger issues.Replying to response: Yes, I stated that in my review that it may not have allowed them to fully lock the vehicle, but they could have contacted me to let me know and kept the windows up. Leaving the windows down in unacceptable.
