I have been going to Lewis Automotive for over 20 years. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and, most importantly, honest. They always go above and beyond to assist me whenever I need it. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my car’s service.

I cannot say enough good things about Lewis Automotive. They are very helpful kind gentleman that work there and they helped me with a nail in my tire. When I went it was rainy and they fixed my tire quickly, and pulled my car up for me so I just got in. Fast forward a week and I went back to get my state inspection and an oil change done. They took my car back right away and did all the work in about an hour. The price was exactly right and I am so impressed with their overall professionalism but also willingness to help others without taking advantage. I will be going back to Lewis Automotive for all car needs going forward no questions asked!

Excellent alternative to these chain shops that charge you to just look at your car -- highly recommend! Called about concerns with my tires and they squeezed me in the very next day (don't be like me, call in advance). Everyone was super friendly and very quick with my maintenance. They were honest about my issues, which is something you don't get at a lot of nowadays with everywhere trying to exploit your mechanical ignorance for more money. My only regret is not bringing cash to tip them! They even cleaned my headlights for me before I headed out!!! 11/10

I decided to switch to Lewis after less than satisfactory experiences from other chains in the area. Pat was able to diagnose and fix an issue that has been a problem with my vehicle for years that no other mechanics could identify. My car is now running the best it has since I’ve owned it. I will absolutely be returning in the future

Lewis Automotive has been excellent to work with, over the past three years, while my daughter was a student at WCU! Not being from the area, it was reassuring to know that we found a local business that provided such excellent service on everything from a state inspection to a major repair. Not only are their technicians highly skilled, their communication and efficiency are second to none. Thanks again!

Pat Rooney at Lewis Automotive is THE BEST!
I had an appointment at another shop in the Boro and I got there with my husband to drop off and they said they were short staffed and canceled my appointment with no notice!
I called around and Lewis Automotive and he said they were booked but assured me they would fit us in that day! Pat was so helpful and his customer service is top notch! Highly recommend

A little over a year ago, I was having some weird car troubles while living in West Chester for school and couldn’t drive 2 hours home to my local mechanic. I brought my vehicle to Lewis Automotive and they completely found and solved an obscure issue with my axles that was causing so many of my car problems. Jump to a couple of weeks ago, I was having a host of coolant leaking issues that I couldn’t get to the bottom of. Lewis Automotive throughly inspected and repaired my vehicle, as well as provided me with their recommendations for future maintenance tailored to my vehicle (2007 VW Jetta). My car has 236,000 miles and is still driving like it’s new thanks to these guys. They are so thorough and informative, and their prices are extremely reasonable. I’m going to miss their service when I leave the area.

I am an automotive hobbiest. I have worked on restoring and modifying my cars since I was 15 years old (now in my 60's). My current project is a 1966 Mustang Convertible, purchased new by my parents. My dad spent his retirement restoring the car, and now is my turn. After about a 2-year process of rebuilding/modifying of the front suspension, and converting to front disc brakes (along with a handful of other smaller projects) I began looking for a pro to go over the car to make sure it was up to snuff. It also needed a custom front end alignment and some automatic transmission work. Finding a shop that would work on an older classic proved challenging. After some research and a few phone calls, I chose Lewis Automotive in West Chester. I had several conversation with the owner Glen as well as the shop lead Pat. Both of them are old school enthusiast and I was instantly comfortable leaving my baby in their capable hands. Since it was going into winter, I was in no hurry to get everything done quickly.Now that the car is done, I am very happy with the results of the TLC she has been given over the past couple of months. Here are the grades I gave;Alignment - tracks straight and true - A+Transmission - nice firm shifts, not too harsh - A+Throttle response/acceleration were great - A+Brakes - great balance and superior stopping power - A+Overall value for cost - OUTSTANDINGLewis Automotive will be my destination of choice for any future major work on the Mustang.
