Long overdue review….these guys were terrific to work with. I entrusted 30 years of family videos to Disc hounds and the product was terrific. Had a cassette tape of original music I wanted converted to a CD. Naturally I was a bit nervous about something happening to it; it has never been out of my hands and duplication would have been impossible. All went well and turned out as I had hoped and expected. Their pricing was good. They responded in a timely manner to any questions. The whole process was completed within 2 weeks; some places (highly advertised on TV) said it would take them 14 weeks and the price was higher. So it was a no brainer. Besides, I like to support local businesses.

I brought all our VHS, VHS-C and Sony Mini Disc (42 total) videos to Disc Hounds to transfer to 5 USB drives for our 4 kids and for us. I wanted to support local small business and keep our family tapes close by vs taking them to other bigger stores where they ship them to NY etc. Mike and Pat were great to work with, explained my options and the quality of the work was fantastic. Even though the store is closed to the public due to the Coronavirus quarantine- they had a safe process in place for making payment online and bringing the finished drives and my original tapes outside when I pulled my car up. They left the box outside the door, went back in and I got out and picked it up. Now is the PERFECT TIME to transfer your tapes so your kids can treasure them for years to come! Al - West Chester, PA

I agree totally with all the kudos the other reviewers have given Disc Hounds. We took in some old, but very loved, cassette tapes and had transferred to cds. The service was excellent, they were ready in the expected time period and at the estimated price, and the sound was enhanced. We couldn't have been happier. Highly recommend.

I have gone to disc hounds twice to have 8 mm video tapes converted to mp4 files. Each time I am blown away by their work. The quality is amazing. It takes about a week for them to transfer a few tapes but it is always worth the wait (and much faster than online video transferring services). It’s a bit pricey but to have them save precious home videos into a format I can share with friends and family is truly priceless. My mom recently passed away and each time I watch the video tapes I have wonderful memories to rewatch forever. I will continue to go to them to have the rest of my tapes transferred. Definitely give them a chance if you are in the area and looking to have similar work done.
