I went in to get a auto inspected recently that I bought from my brother which he had fixed for me before giving it to me. He replaced parts on it to pass inspection. I took it to munksgard knowing nothing was wrong and what was replaced. I was told that the parts that was replaced by my brother he said needed replaced. they where just replaced a few months ago so i knew they didn't need replaced. I thought the same was done to me on another auto but had no choice but to let him replace them. The problem continued even though he said he had replaced the parts but i had no proof but i trusted him. Now he has done this again when I know the parts where just replaced. this guy can't be trusted. I have been thinking this but with no proof what could I do. Now I have proof and I am letting you all know don't trust this guy He will scam you. He may have charged you for work that he didn't do but told you needed done. I no longer will be using himTHIS GUYS WILL SCAM YOU DON'T TRUST HIM.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I have worked with Munksgards for years. They have, with few exceptions,. always been affordable and had the best solution for the situation. They've always been friendly and reasonable. I can't say enough nice things about the, Great service.

Really incredible service. I'm new to the area and didn't know any mechanics. I was worried about getting scammed since I don't know anything about cars. The owner explained everything, outlined exactly what would be done, and charged a reasonable amount. I was treated with appreciation and respect. I will definitely use this garage again.

They said they knew how to service Volkswagens so we took ours in for a coolant leak issue. I informed them it is probably the water pump. We dropped our Tiguan off around 8AM and didn't hear from them the entire day despite leaving our contact information. I finally got in touch with the shop after 3 separate phone calls. We were told they couldn't figure out the issue with the leak but think it could be the water pump. They said they didn't want to do the repair because of the work involved to diagnose it and fix it (despite them saying they serviced Volkswagen vehicles). When we picked our car up (unfixed and undiagnosed) they charged us $70. When I asked what the fee was for I was told that it was because they had the vehicle in the shop on the lift. The mechanic we talked to said he hates foreign cars and won't work on them but had no problem charging us $70 to "diagnose" a coolant leak despite not giving us an answer to the issue. I would stay away from this place and take your business elsewhere. If you're into shady business practices and predatory tactics this place is the spot for you. If you want to be lied to and robbed I'd highly recommend it. If you want your vehicle fixed correctly or even diagnosed at all it's best to look elsewhere.
