Don't believe the way they are teaching kids is Godly at all, teaching to ask for signs is not Biblical. Great camp, beautiful surroundings for sure. But God's word is God's Word and they shouldn't change it

I spent a week here one summer with a friend who was a strong believer. I on the other hand, am agnostic. I came to this camp unsure of what the routine was. It was fun at first with lots of games and activities to do. I don't attend church usually, but I didn't mind going to church here. During the middle of the week things got a little strange. We went to a campfire and they started talking about the rapture. I knew what this was because my friend had previously talked about it a couple of times. But the man who was speaking about it was talking about his own personal experiences with God. He said he saw God pop out of a dark black hole holding on to his son's hand and asked to grab his hand as well. There were a few other stories that he told too. I was so scared that I was being put in the care of people who believe this actually happened. He talked about how I will die if I don't convert my religion. Apparently everyone knew I wasn't Christian because that's what my friends mom told the staff. He looked at me and said something along the lines of if I wanted to be "saved". I learned about this before I went to the camp and I was petrified so I looked at the ground and stayed quiet. This campfire of talks about death and fictional crazy sounding stories about God seemed to go on for hours. After we all got up to go back to our bunks I was so overwhelmed and scared that I got a stomach ache and I was afraid to go anywhere because of how these people were acting. Another day afterwards I asked to call home because I was uncomfortable with being at the camp. Everyone declined my request and said I could wait a few days for pick-up. I was so sad because I couldn't even tell my mom that I wanted to go home because I was overwhelmed with how extreme everyone was. The night before pick-up, I had to stay in the church for hours listening to the Christian music playing. I wasn't allowed to sit down for at least an hour. When I finally got to sit down people were all over the place in the the church spread out rocking around and crying and screaming. The music slowly turned from happy to cult sounding, and I was afraid to be here any longer. I went to the corner with my friend and cried because I just wanted to go home, and nobody was letting me, and they were forcing their religion onto me. When my mom picked me up, I was so relieved to finally be able to get out of there, This was one of the scariest things I've ever experienced, and I will never be coming back.

Wonderful place to experience God's creation. Very nice accommodations. Fun and family friendly events are held here year round, and summer camp is incredibly fun! Beautiful dining hall. The high ropes challenge course is super, and the low ropes group challenges are always well run, fun, and a good training tool. Many other things to do too, swimming pool, boating on the pond, soccer, basketball, etc. Come here often and will continue to!
