was very disappointed in the service here normally its amazing and everyone is very kind and helpful, when i was in there recently though there was a younger blonde girl working the register who was very rude when checking me out making comments about what i was buying and had a really mean attitude when i asked her a question about the hoagie dip which made me feel as if i was an inconvenience. she also gave me the wrong change back as well but i was just so frustrated with the way she was speaking i didnt bother saying anything and i just left and im not sure if ill be coming back. i understand everyone has bad days but i was having a bad day as well though and this made me upset and embarrassed which is unacceptable especially when you're working a customer service job. i will be telling all of my friends and family who frequently go there as well.

Quick and easy to find meats, deli and sides with desserts. Everyone from butchers to the deli counter to checkout is very nice and helpful. Good place to get everything including a smile!

Just bought a little over 2lb of flank steak and paid $37 and change. Acme sells it 29 a pound, unfortunately they didn't have it. Next time I will go without ?♂️?♂️

My wife and I took a roadie on a beautiful Sunday. The facade of the strip mall was under renovation, so we almost missed this place. I worked at one of these stores in DE in the early 1980's and wasn't sure if this was a part of the chain. Once we entered, I knew it was. The shingles around the top of the store, the well-staffed deli counter, and the meat room were the tell-tale signs that this was one of the last remnants of the local chain. They even have the pickle barrel and the fresh rolls like I remembered. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The store was crowded with patrons and the aisles are a bit narrow, but worth the struggle. We bought a little bit of everything, chicken, pork, veal, ground sirloin, NY strips, minute steaks, a couple roasts, meatballs, burger patties, deli meats, groceries. The prices were reasonable, but you supermarket shoppers may find them higher than what to what you are are accustomed. The meats were all fresh and we can't wait to prepare them in our favorite dishes. Bring a cooler if you live a ways away like me.

Reminds me of being a kid at local markets. Great deli counter - ask for the chip steak and make a mean cheese steak. Also recommend the frozen meatballs.
