“This place is super convenient if all you need to do is pick up some beer... Obviously as small as it is you don't have every choice in the world but if they have your beer, You're good to go.. You just roll in roll down your window tell the guy what you want and he puts it in your car.”

“Been frequenting this location for a while. We used to order kegs frequently and do special orders for different types of brews. They have a wide variety that many other stores do not have. Prices are affordable and not overpriced, even for the rarer stuff. Highly recommend.”

“My go-to beer store. Fantastic selection that you can buy at less than case quantities. Can't ask for more than that. I love being able to try a variety of styles without fully committing to a case.”

“I was looking for a new drink that seems to sell out very quickly at the state store. They had it! They even had it cold! The people were very friendly and was happy to get what we wanted.”

“you can always count on them having what you're looking for, and if not an absolute suitable substitute with their very knowledgeable advice.
their prices are always fair, their wine selection is extensive; I think for the space available they have a pretty fair amount of options for whiskey/scotch .”

“I am not a drinker, I ran in here because I am supplying the booze for shots at a party. I just was lost, I didn't know where anything was and the gentleman working was so kind and took some time to tell me what different things were and what was higher end and what wasn't. It was perfect!”

“Very nice store and full of variety of beers, and things. Prices aren't too wild and friendly service. They've been a mainstay in town for a long time since I moved up here in the late 90s. Not sure when they opened first, but can't go anywhere else for your kicks.”

“One of my favorite local FWGS stores, for a "small" store, in a small town, they have a nice selection and friendly staff. Whitehall and Cedar Crest locations are bigger with more selection, but if you know what you want and it's fairly common, this store likely has it.”

“It's smaller than most but they still have the same variety always in stock. Friendly workers, parking is good, handicap accessible with lottery at the door.”

4.3 Superb93 Reviews

“Great selection, staff is very nice and prices are pretty fair. Someone had mentioned that they “lock you in” but only the entrance is locked to prevent more people than allowed because of covid. They are no longer doing that though.”

“Wide variety of domestic offerings, as well as seltzers, hard lemonades and teas. Surprisingly large selection of GOOD craft beer in the coolers as well. Burley Oak, Common Roots, etc. Nice large walk in cooler for common offerings to grab that are already cold. Good selection of cigars at the register and the store is in a convenient location just off of route 309.”

“If you are in the Poconos near the Jim Thorpe area, a craft beer drinker, and looking for great IPAs, THIS is the place to go! The owner, Josh, knows his IPAs. I entered the store thinking I was getting a standard PA brewed IPA, but I left with stuff from Commonwealth, Drekker, Cushwa, and a Vermont brewed beer (the brewery name escapes me). In the craft beer dessert that is this area of the Poconos, Josh is your guy.”

“They have the usual mainstream selection of beers but have also started introducing a small selection of craft beers. Prices are fair and they are very friendly. Convienent location but if anything to suggest, get more into the craft beer selection! Besides that they awesome!”
