“I love Aldi and we shop here often. I tend to shop the "outside aisles" at Aldi. So mostly fruit, veggies, meat, cheese, nuts, dairy. The problem with this location is ALWAYS waiting in long checkout lines. They do not have self checkout for some crazy reason. If there's even a cashier, there's almost only just one and a very very long line. If you go during off-peak times, the cashier is often not even at the register, and you have to wait for them to see you there. It's annoying for sure, however we continue to shop there anyway. They NEED SELF-CHECKOUT, but they told me once that they'll never get it because Aldi won't get it for all of their stores.”
“We were alittle disappointed after we got home and tried their coconut cream pie and their chocolate cream cheese cupcakes. The cupcakes were dry, and their cakes usually moist. We didn't care the meringue on the pie. Would rather it be without the meringue. We usually get their chocolate cake with peanut butter icing...guess we should've stuck with that....very nice owner and staff . We always make a stop there when we come back to Schuylkill county.”
“Some good buys on scratch and dent buy outs also fresh dairy and lunch meat. Just gotta watch expiration dates. Nice setup on a big Mennonite Farm, clean and organized.”

552 State St, Hamburg“Store is great and easy to shop. Produce is great and the guy there, Pete, super helpful. I'm glad they usually have a cashier on duty sometimes you just don't want to deal with self checkout.”
“Not a bad grocery store! They have stuff in weird places and they didn't carry regular food dye. They had the gel stuff, though, so I guess it's fine. I'd go here again.”

7166 Bernville Road, PA-183, Bernville“Very friendly and helpful staff! When I had to exchange my order for frozen veggies, they were super kind and helpful. Also, shelves are very well organized and fully stocked. Also good meat sales!”
“Boyers has great Sales. Manager Frank is always friendly and helpful. He and Assistant Mgr John always on top of things. Some of the Part-Time staff is great too..I think they need more Security Cameras though over by Dairy and Soda area.”
“Friendly and helpful staff, decent prices. They take much better care of their produce than Walmart, and it's worth paying a little more for Redner's: Walmart's greens are often already rotting in containers: you can check my photos of that place. This location also has lawn furniture for reasonably affordable, about $50 more than Amazon for a $200 unit. You can buy firewood here too.”
“Great people and nice old school atmosphere. Please be aware the entire structure and business model have changed. They don't sell groceries any longer. Gas is still here but it's clothing and stuff like that. I've not purchased anything other than gas since the change. I cannot answer anything about the changing busy model as of yet.”

6719 Bernville Rd, Bernville“They do have ready made food, as well as a hot counter that uses a touchscreen for ordering, but if you are in a rush it's not a great place to stop quickly. The hot orders take way too long and the cashiers are snippy with their little attitudes. They make things slower and more difficult to check out of there. The donuts are so delicious and they have a huge variety of items. Also an ATM and scratch off ticket lottery machine. Must say that the chicken is pretty darn good, tho! For sure!”
“Went to Dollar Store, bought a few things, then went to Boyers. I noted the prices of items I had purchased at Dollar Store. Boyers was cheaper for store brand "Essential" items. Dollar store is nice, but prefer Boyers.”

“Dollar general in leesport is great. Everyone who works there is nice and helpful. Prices are low and its easy to access from either lane of 61. Parking lot is big enough to be able to navigate and small enough to not worry about losing your car. The store is always clean and stocked too!”

700 S Fourth St, Hamburg“It's a little hard to find some things but they have a lot of things crammed into a small store. And there's usually not a person up at the cash register until you ring for them which they are usually helping to place items on the shelves”
“Awesome place just need to see store get more organized. I saw store products everywhere on the wrong shelves and the floor very much needs to be better organized”
“I don’t normally give reviews, but the cashier here seriously made my day today. I didn’t catch her name, but she was so kind and had a good sense of humor. I normally have to wait to check out but today was different because of her. Thank you!!”
“This is the cleanest, most organized, well stocked Walmart you will ever find. This is the type of Walmart you would expect to find in the most upscale areas of the United States.”

Everything is easy to find, and a large majority of the staff are friendly, courteous, and very helpful. I'm there at least once everyday, and have never had a bad experience!! Thanks to all staff...keep up the good job!!!”
“A HUGE THANK YOU to the sales associate Kimberly at the Shartlesville PA location!! I went in with a $1.01 in my bank account and $8 in my CashApp that I can’t even access lol and all this due to my weekly pay being stopped abruptly and unexpectedly. I asked Kimberly if there was anyway I could transfer the $8 to someone and use it to buy some cans of fruit. She asked what cans of fruit I grabbed 2 and she took $4 out of her own pocket and bought those 2 cans of fruit for me without even thinking twice. Human kindness does still truly exist. I’ve called dollar general corporate headquarters to fill them in on there employee’s selfless actions and hope she can be rewarded someway. It’s people like Kimberly who help me to remain positive and remind me that there still is good in the world even when I’m feeling hopeless since our own government doesn’t even step up when humans are in need especially not without the proper forms!! I’d like to know when paperwork became more important than actual people!!!! If you do stop in at that location please let Kimberly know how much what she did was so above and beyond her job and how absolutely incredible that small act of kindness was. Small side note...while talking to corporate at the end of the conversation I asked if dollar general who is a multi multi multi billion possibly trillion dollar company would be able to in any way maybe help me get a few more food items to get me through until I get my income back and I was told to contact the actual store. I would have thought for sure this huge corporation would have loved to step up and help in my time of need just like there sales associate Kimberly whom by the way I’m only guessing isn’t worth many billions possibly trillions. Sadly I was incorrect and the buck was passed off and was redirected to ask that question elsewhere but will be contacting the district manager of this location to see what she says. Fingers crossed with positive thoughts!!”
