My family and I googled "petting zoo", and some reviews said it was open to the public to see the animals so naturally we went. We got there, couldn't figure out how to get in so we called and the woman who answered was very rude. If this is not supposed to be a petting zoo then it shouldn't be advertised as such.

My wife and I have began staying at Bed and Breakfast inns for our anniversary getaways since we got married 8 years ago. We stayed with Nancy and Richard this past weekend and truly loved our stay. Great conversation was had during breakfasts, prepared by Nancy, most of which came from the garden right outside. I have very stringent food restrictions to which Nancy was creatively able to help. This was a lovely stay and a blessing of a weekend. We intend to come back and get the full experience where we can join in on farm activities. Should you make your way to their magnificent home, be sure to purchase sauces of all varieties for your pantry!

The experience my son and I had here was nothing short of first class. The owners were the nicest and sweetest human beings and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Home cooked and home grown breakfast each morning all grown on the farm and was some of the best food I’ve had. Amazing scenery and relaxing location. 100% recommend to anyone, especially families with children. Will definitely return.

Very scenic views in midst of mother nature, incredible hostess driving naturalist outcomes for decades! Food made at home is served with love and care. Kids enjoyed the goat milk, home made Keish..The goat petting and farm tour was refreshing and educational at same time.

This was by far one of the best bed and breakfast experiences I have ever had. Owners are super friendly and down to earth. They welcome you into their home and make you feel like family. Breakfast on both of our mornings was exceptional. Made fresh and with lots of love. This was my first experience with eating goat meat and goat milk. Loved it. Nancy made homemade goat milk ice cream so I was able to experience that. Very tasty. Rooms were great. Would definitely stay again if we visit that area in the future. Five stars is not a high enough rating in my opinion.

Super neat place with super nice owners who were willing to work with us through PayPal given that our credit card was lost at a gas station somewhere along the way. Looking forward to day #2 today . . . my 6 year old is dying to milk a goat :)

We had the most enriching, amazing stay at Frush Farm. My kids could not get enough of the animals and no matter where we ventured off they'd always wants to come back as soon as possible. Our studio was IMMACULATE with artwork that added a touch personality to it. Nancy's passion for "living off the land" definitely inspired us and took us back to our childhood. My son enjoyed being chased by the goats and feeding the chickens and sitting in Richard's lap as he gave him a ride on this tractor. We enjoyed their stories which were very heartfelt and special, and it became obvious why and how they've managed to touch the lives of so many people near and far. Thank you Nancy and Richard for being the most gracious hosts. On our way home today all we talked about was coming back. Lots of love to you both!

Oh my! I was in many places in PA enjoy my time with friends and family especially in that hard time with unpredictable world changes but this place frush farm is a something I have never seen before or enjoyed before. The frush farm is just a piece of heaven with an amazing view around and healthy touches every whereBut, let me tell you that at the first glance when I got there and stared to hear the instructions and mostly the punch of restrictions from the farm owner - her name is Nancy - and how much they want to keep everything as it is. I was about to leave the place behind and come back to where I came from. Then, over time when we start to adapt to all of these restrictions and follow Nancy's guidelines that we found it also written in a big booklet on the house. We started to fall in love with the every single detail of the frush farm starting from the cutest animals there in the pasture to the plants and nature around the house.Nancy's family is one of those families who are keen for the environment and how much we should do our best to save it and actually she's by no spoiling or passing things easy pushed us to change our daily life routine like spending much attention to do recycling ♻ for our garbage and to not walk around the house wearing our shoes or even to be careless with our body by eating unhealthy foods that harm our body every single day.And when it comes to food, Nancy offers a farm- to- table breakfast every day and that's a total different story of this trip :DThe best and the healthiest and the most delicious food we've ever had in our life, she offered us different types of farm picked fresh foods like scrambled eggs, juice, fresh cherry tomatoes, cooked potatoes with some vegetables, kafir which made from goat milk and it's in a creamy thick drink, fresh white peach diced in a delicious bowl, and the surprise is a hot flower to eat :D (I've never eaten flowers in my life before and I don't think I'll do in near future lol)The food along with her funny stories with the different portraits hanging on the wall around us from the different countries that they've visited before like Egypt mostly and Philippines (a fantastic piece of art to an old lady holds her grand grand child) besides the HOME atmosphere makes you enjoy every single pite of your breakfast. The other part which is I saw it the most interesting part after all was her small tours around the pasture and the stream where she kept acknowledging us about animals and plants and flowers and the way she takes care of them and how rich her information in all of these fields. If you have children in the age of school you'd teach them things that they might never know in the books ?I can guarantee that we knew her daily routine with all of these farm related work now and I can imagine how hard is her work and her dedication to all that nature around THEN, I totally agree with all restrictions she keeps in place and how much I'm happy to be apart of all of it and to participate in keeping her way of saving the environment and of course her place as well. The only thing I hoped to see in her studio was the wide windows so we can enjoy the breathe taking view from inside along with the natural sun light but unfortunately, the windows are very small and the place is barely lightening even when we open all windows we still need to turn lights on to see around. The other point is the cleaning which is the thing you need to be assured of and to guarantee it's tripled taking care of because of that pandemic. The studio was super clean and sanitized with a beautiful touch of small portraits in every corner of the place even in the toilet ?Finally, I wish if I can stay longer in that healthy fresh spot to get rid of the most bad habits we got from crowded and polluted cities but definitely I will whenever I got a chance to escape the city and whenever Nancy has a free spot in her farm for us.

Frush farm was the perfect getaway. The farm animals were well taken care of, the breakfast provided was incredible, the property was well kept. Nancy and Richard were excellent hosts! If you're looking for farm to table freshness, Frush Farms is the best.
