I say this place has changed my life and I absolutely would recommend joining if you are ready for an abundance of support and guidance in being fit and healthy , Cash not only loves building people up physically but also mentally !! The conversations are uplifting and enlightening in so many ways I’ve learned my potential is limitless and being a member of this facility definitely plays a huge part in me growing as a person . 24 hour acces is unbeatable as I am a very busy person with an inconsistent schedule, all in all this place deserves 10 stars if it was possible !!!”

“Had my first personal training session today with Shakeem, he has been training my other friends for a while, so I decided to join. It was a tough workout, but so fun! Shakeem was super patient with me as this was my first time boxing, he was professional, and the gym was clean! Even had gloves for me to borrow until mine came in the mail. Highly recommend for any level boxing and a great workout!!!”

“Faith is a wonderful nutritionist. She will work with you as an equal and help you develop the tools and techniques that you need to succeed. I have met with Faith regularly over the past 4 months, and not only has she helped me optimize my nutrition to reach new heights from an athletic perspective, but she has helped me re-frame my complex relationship with food in a much more healthy and sustainable way. “I can’t say enough great things about CrossFit Crossing. So far, about 2 months in, transitioning from a bodybuilding/powerlifting aspect. Every coach at this facility has helped me achieve something great, and have shared their knowledge/experience to make me a better athlete. The workouts will push you, and while in the moment they may suck, at the end you’ll be happy you did it with a feeling of accomplishment. If you’re looking to start a journey into CrossFit or just want to get healthy and in shape, there is no better place in Berks!”

“Glad I found this place! Agree with others on confusing layout. The tape system is not great and there were several routes where regulars told me that the label fell off a hold. I only bouldered (visiting the area) and I think sport climbing here would be way more fun, those routes looked good. Overhang bouldering area grading made no sense to me, I was climbing my normal v10s on the other wall and couldn’t do the easiest routes there, it seemed like tape may be missing. The setter is clearly a fan of dynos (big dynamic moves) which may not appeal to everyone.Compared to others gyms (in Washington and Montana) this one isn’t as nice, but honestly it’s nice there is a gym out here at all. Lots of towns don’t have them. My suggestions to the owner: (1) Color code the holds instead of using tape in at least the boulder only area, yes this limits the number of routes but it is going to help beginners and visitors more. (2) make more of the boulder routes go up instead of sideways, since sideways routes make it hard for multiple climbers to use the wall and don’t really mimic outdoor boulder problems.I would definitely go back and hopefully get on the sport climbs. Seems like the staff is friendly and people would offer to belay if you’re solo. ?”

“I enjoy the spa. I always use the massage chair and hydrotherapy bed. I need the short term rewards, like the massages, to keep me motivated. I do have a couple of recommendations. Either replacing the bars on the leg press machine that hold the weights, or turn the existing bars upside down so there is a smooth surface for the weights to slide on and off with. The bars, as they currently are are worn out. Another add that I would see value in would be an installed sit up bar. It is very valuable for those that want to do regular situps. Some of the sit up bars I've seen anchor into the ground. Pertaining to the Smith Machines, it seems like the Smith Machine's at your location need to be maintenanced. There seems to be more resistance on them than some of the Smith machines I've used at other gyms. Lastly, if you desired steam rooms, if you were to remove the last 4 of the showers as the end of the row (2 on each side) in the guys locker room, you could install a steam room, at least on the guys side. NOT sure of the layout on the female side. If you were to install the steam room, you could probably capture more of market because you would then offer a full spa. Other than these few things, I fully enjoy going to the Planet Fitness gym. To give you my demographic, I am a working father of 6 kids and have no shortage of stress at home. I enjoy my time at the Planet Fitness and see my time investment there as a mini break where I invest at least 2 hours of my time every time I frequent the Perokimen Planet Fitness.”

“The gym itself has come a long way. New gear, new flooring and a new paint job. I love the fresh look.I originally came here for the personal training they offer. I got teamed up with Mitch and my goal was to put on 5lbs of lean muscle.I started at 167lbs and I am currently at 180lbs! That’s 13lbs of lean muscle in 8 months. I showed up, put the work in, and followed his suggestions. For someone who had a torn ac joint in each shoulder, and multiple torn discs and lower back issues, Mitch was more than capable of developing workouts around my pain and discomfort while strengthening my weak spots so I could progress in my exercises.We discussed everything from healthy eating habits and new meal ideas to our own personal goals and aspirations. I’m super happy to have trained with Mitch and I highly recommend him for your strength and fitness goals.Wyo West as a facility is clean, managed well, and I am happy it is close by. The massage chairs are a huge plus.”

“This is an excellent gym, crazy busy during the day. In 8 short months I have met some new friends and have had many laughs and have made significant improvements to my own journey. Love the 3-5 am crew as we all know each other, unfortunately I joined anytime fitness also this past week and have been going there as well. The employees work very hard keeping the place nice and clean as I have met many in my short time there. Stopping back occasionally will be in my plans.”
