This establishment just profiled a hard working man who had more than enough money for his purchase and then some. He did nothing wrong other than walk through the door. He was even approached in the parking lot afterwords & accused of stealing. I thought this type of behavior was long gone, but I see it is still thriving at this business, which is just sad. He returned everything he purchased for a refund, went to a different store. He didn't even recieve an apology for the way they behaved while he was shopping & when they came up to him in the parking lot. SMH shame on you, treat people better.

So I was having a wonderful morning and I decided to stop by Greentree hardware outside of Quarryville on 896 to buy a ratchet set and some other tools. I go into the store and I'm asked if I need help and I say no thank you I know what I'm looking for and I need a few things so I go back to the sockets I grab two ratchets that I want to buy and I'm looking at a few other things. The owner comes back and asked me if he can help me and I said no thank you I'm looking for a couple things and he stands there and stares at me and I said is there something wrong and he said is there and I said no and he said do you need help finding anything so I wanted these two ratchets and I'm looking at a couple other things and he said well I'm just watching you you look like you need to be watched and I pulled out the $450 some dollars in my pocket and said no I'm here to buy a few things and he said no you're the type that needs to be watched. I'm literally in the parking lot after buying the things I bought them at the register and he said thank you have a nice day and I said I highly doubt it now that I've been treated this way I cannot believe I was treated so rudely by somebody I'm not dressed poorly I have jeans and an American flag t-shirt on I don't understand what his problem was. Imagine if I was of color or from a different Nation. I would be very wary of using this business in the future. An update I'm typing this in the parking lot he just came out and asked me if I took the flashlight so I let him look in all of my pockets. Unbelievable!! I should have told him to rot in hell but I'm trying to be the better person.
