Thank you so much Pottstown sewing for being so kind and truly helpful! ? I just bought a sewing machine from there last week and they really take the time to help you and show you all the different types of machines and how to set them up. And they even have classes there to show you all about how to use it! I can’t say enough how patient and sweet they all are, they’re such a blessing ??

Great little shop. You can take classes, drop off your machine for repair, and buy fabric and notions. They have great prices and selection.

Multiple offerings in this large store include machines, fabric, sewing notions, verbal assistance and so much more. I had my Pfaff serviced and I have purchased project supplies here. It's really fun to browse and enjoy all the products. I can't imagine why anyone would give this business just one star unless it was to settle a score.

Don’t try to work here if you’re under 60. I have been quilting for over 10 years and tried to work here on a few occasions during advertised need for help. Usually I was turned down at the store. Once during a phone call I was asked, because at the time I was in my early 20’s, if I would be moving anytime soon because they were looking for someone long-term. That was 7 years ago and I’m still in Pottstown! Always an excuse not to hire someone younger. Ageism at its finest.

Visited Pottstown Sewing for the first time this past Saturday. What a lovely store! It was a bright, welcoming and as sunny inside as it was outside that day. Bright, colorful samples and two ladders full of fabric on their rungs decorated the store. There is a huge woolen/flannel selection with wool thread to match—this is almost hidden in the back corner of the store. One wall is line with notions, and another with patterns. And a very large collection of fabric on the one half of the store. The staff was friendly and most helpful. Definitely plan to visit again, soon!

One of the most amazing places I have ever been! The staff is so knowledgeable and friendly. Liz, Sue, Olivia, Mary, and Jacklyn teach classes with profesional tips and tricks. I cannot recommend this store enough!

I called this place on three different occasions one dating back to October for sewing classes . I was told that they would call me with the updated class hours and I never received a call . I called back in November to ask again about the cost and the classes and if they were available I was told to call back if interested in Private lessons instead in which I agreed . I called back to schedule private lessons , and then was told they were looking for a new sewing class teacher ... long story short they gave me the run around and I'm confused at this point . They are all over the place .
