My recent experience with Hertz Rent-A-Car was incredibly disappointing. The car I received was filthy, both inside and out, which was shocking for a paid rental. Also, Hertz failed to disclose additional charges, leaving me frustrated and feeling deceived. I expected better from a reputable company like Hertz and hope they address these issues to maintain customer trust.

My experience with Hertz Rent-A-Car was a series of disappointments. Firstly, my rental vehicle was late for pickup, causing me to be late in picking up my in-laws at the airport. To make matters worse, the car was incredibly filthy, forcing my husband and in-laws to spend their precious vacation time cleaning it. And to top it off, I was charged an exorbitant $130 for a $3 toll. This experience was frustrating and costly, leaving me with a negative impression of Hertz's service.

One of the best customer service experience I had. Eric assisted us with our rental issues and helped us get a car in an instant. The office were about to close but he still give us the help we needed without rushing, he instead accommodated us in a very friendly and helpful manner.

Awful management. Made a reservation through Hertz directly. Arrived to pick it up and was told no cars are available. The only employee present explained that Hertz does this regularly. He almost bragged that he turned away 3 people today for that reason.The closest Enterprise location confirmed they often get customers from the poor customer service practices at Hertz.

Always the best! Super convenient location, friendly, efficient, and well-managed. Nice, clean fleet of vehicles (last rental was basically a brand new car).I pulled up and the agent was there waiting in front of the office, with the rental agreement and keys. ready. Fantastic service!!

Excellent customer service. We used this location to drop off our rental to a different location from pick up (PHL airport). Hertz 800 number said this was only possible if the car was towed back to the airport at my expense. What!? Pottstown Hertz made it happen with a smile. Thanks guys!!

Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with a rental company. The employee Eddie was supposed to call me back with pricing based on my rental coverage with the insurance company. Instead, they drop the car off in my driveway after it being signed for and left. Didn't explain or show anything about the vehicle, which is a Tesla. No explanation about how to charge it, operate it, etc. When I called back asking about why I didn't receive a call about the cost, I was told with an attitude that they were busy. The car's alignment is dangerously off. The steering wheel is cocked to the right, there's a loud rubbing sound, the entire car shakes, and it pulls to the left. Called the manager and received no explanation whatsoever except for cold responses. If you want a piece of junk, no explanations, and abusive customer service, then go to Hertz in Pottstown. You'll get exactly what you're looking for.

I am very big on customer service I have several businesses and I don’t play about how my customers are treated my insurance company sent over for me to get a rental weeks ago and this place did not reach out to me until last week Eric reached out to me and he didn’t have a vehicle I was interested in I called today and spoke with Eddie he claimed he would call me back in 5 minutes he had large rentals left I called him back a hour later and spoke with him he forgot to call me back and others came in for the rentals now they are all out of rental cars this is crazy and apparently I’m the only one suffering because I spoke with Eddie and Eric today and they had nothing to say expect we all out of vehicles it’s nothing they could do Eddie should have given me a call back knowing I was waiting on a vehicle wow I’ll be letting my insurance company know because this is a service I pay for through my insurance and this should not have taken place

Worst experience ever. Made reservation on Expedia and had it confirmed. Received call from Jeff the manager who said he had zero cars available today or tomorrow. I shared that the care was a "manager special" advertised on Expedia, Hertz, Kayak and several other sites. It was on of many (on one site one of 12). He said Expedia didn't know what they were doing and other sites get it wrong (including Hertz). He also told me no other rental company in the town was open and said I could call the next day to see if he had a car. I contacted Expedia and Hertz directly and they said he should have access to a car. I called the dealer back and was told no. Another employee told me off and hung up the phone. Avoid. I rented from a local Enterprise that was in fact open on Saturday. Avoid.

I consistently get charged the wrong amount for rentals. They have overcharged $200 this time and still haven't refunded the money. Another time, they charged me 15 bucks for gas even though they said to bring it back at 3/4 because that was how much gas was in, when I got it.
