Positive reviews are incentivized. For a “luxury” complex, the building is quite cheaply made. The windows (and ceiling) leak, the sewage constantly backs up, the thermostat isn’t accurate, the unit was not cleaned or repaired before we moved in, and there are unsightly bundles of random cords along the walls. The massive windows are beautiful, but horrible for privacy and airflow. Common areas are rarely cleaned or maintained. There are many fees added to your rent. Sometimes the entrances to the building aren’t even secured. The two small elevators for 20-something floors break constantly. I regret living here.

Highly not recommended. A luxury apartment without the “luxury.” There’s always something wrong in the building or apartments & towards the end, didn’t even have hot water all the time to shower. My partner moved here two years ago from across the state to an unfinished apartment. A year later they finally gave him a cabinet & made it seem like it was a privilege. Shortly after resigning his lease (purely out of convenience) he noticed they’re charging him $300 more the NEW tenants. He finally moved out & they want to keep part of the security deposit for “paint touch up” & wall cleaning when that’s apart of regular maintenance after tenants leave.Be prepared to spend $250 in parking on top of rent even though the building is built in top of a parking garage

As a resident of The Venue apartment building, I can confidently say that it exceeds all expectations. The sleek, modern design creates a welcoming atmosphere, while the luxurious amenities, such as the rooftop pool and fitness center, make everyday life feel like a retreat. The staff here are incredibly attentive and always go above and beyond to ensure resident satisfaction. Plus, the central location means everything I need is right at my doorstep. Living at The Venue truly elevates the urban experience to new heights."

Welp! Been living here for 4 + years now hence have had many experiences. Apartments are never your own customized home, so if little things don't bother you I'd highly recommend here. I say that bc when ppl pay high $$, they want to feel right/good abt their decision so annoyances(whatever that may be) have amplifying effect. Think of the high $$ you pay as premium for location/accessibility, and you'll be more than happy.Management has gotten really better over past few yrs. Direct communication from Management to residents via text is good. Finally the pool....lucky owners! The place where the pool is situated means nearly 50% of the apartments directly face it. Given Pittsburgh's terrible weather, the second warm sunlight weather is out the pool area organically becomes a courtyard for residents. Human psychology....you see ppl, you wanna join too.Depending on what you value important for your apt, it can be the best place you can live in in Pittsburgh. For things I value, it is for me......however, I also know ppl who weren't satisfied.Go have a look. I'd say it's 100% worth checking out during your search.

Best place in the city! Conveniently located in the heart of downtown located within walking distance of the Point, Market Square, Cultural District, North Shore, and several bus/trolley lines close by to reach anywhere in the city. Our dog loves the rooftop dog park, self-serve pet spa, and going to Point State Park to run around. The staff is friendly, reliable, responsive, and genuinely care about the tenants who live here. The other residents and dogs are very friendly and the pool and rooftop is very lively during the summer. The Venue is home sweet home!

We’ve been living here for about a 1.5 years and have no complaints. Our apartment is very modern and the building has lots of convenient amenities for the residents. The pool, dog park, and view are nice touches that makes The Venue stand out and call home :)

Conveniently located in downtown, very close to Pittsburgh main attractions. The views are totally incredible and just found out it was the location for Tom Cruise’s “Jack Reacher” movie; very few people can watch their building in the movies!!
