This place is great! I don't know how it had survived for all these years, but i an glad it has! You can get all sorts of fun stuff for kids, or for adults who still act like kids. I've been coming here for 40 years!

The owner of the store is super nice and extremely knowledgeable- she chose every single item in her store, and based on my previous purchases and her recommendations, I am confident in all of her products. Incredible toy store!

This family business know their stuff. If you're looking for toys for kids that WILL BE PLAYED WITH and ARE OF GOOD VALUE, go here. They have a variety of entertainment, fun, activities for a range of ages. They are the oldest store on this ultra-hip street in Shadyside! They know what they are doing and are a lot of fun.

Sunday Hours are posted as 11:00 to 3. Arrived at 1:30 with grandkids and it was closed. No hours posted at the story. A wasted drive from the North hills was not appreciated

Our day was brightened when we went here. A cheery, clean shop that is chock full of diversions and amusements. It's easy to see why it's been around so long. You'll find that special something for the big or little kid in your life here.

I wanted to like this store and intended to make a purchase. My dad actually worked for the governor of Pennsylvania in the past so the manner in which the owner (presumably) engaged was bothersome and elitist. She took it upon herself to make fun of me--seriously--with another customer. This was after she had ASKED to see the prop with which I do standup comedy. "Some kids never grow up." Chuckle, chuckle. The tone and attitude spoke volumes beyond that single asinine statement. Look, you bourgeois b***** You're the one standing around selling rubber, plastic and wood all day. If you can't even do that well, perhaps you should hire a high school dropout to show you how it's done. Respect others; receive respect (and more sales). will not return and neither will my future fam which may have dropped hundreds
