I never do this but this called for it.Don’t shop here. Not a friendly atmosphere for children. Shop owner followed us around like a creep and was rude. It’s like the total opposite of Duncan’s Toy Chest. Plus, prices were a rip off and it smelled like old phone books.

Really cool toy store. Has a ton of vintage toys that I remember from growing up! They also had a lot of glass shelves and jewelry. I would definitely keep your eyes on your young kids so they don't break anything.

The people at this toy store were very friendly & welcoming. There were 2 floors of so many options. Toys, stuffed animals, games, hobby items etc. Although this store was very old in appearance, I enjoyed the unique charm & nostalgia! My kids loved it!! There just aren’t many toy stores anymore & I hope this one is around for many more years to come ?

My son, 4, and I passed this place the other day and decided to stop in. When I say they have the best of the best toys, I swear it’s true. The second story was our favorite. My son ended up with a whole new Lego collection lol.The service is impeccable. There was always someone right there waiting to help and happy to make conversation. Very friendly and personable staff. We were in there for about an hour, but it wasn’t just shopping, my son had a BLAST! There’s display toys to play with all over over the place so it ended up being a memory making experience. I 100% recommend setting aside some time to check this place out. It’s the last true toy store out there. I’m so grateful we stopped here. I’ve never seen my son happier( until it was time to leave, then he was NOT, in fact, happy?).

Have great memories of being a kid and frequenting this store. Fast forward to today, a single interaction with the owner has turner me off from supporting his business and getting my own children toys here. I would love to support a local business, but not one with such condescension towards its clientelle.

A true treasure. A great place for children, adults and collectors alike. A fantastic place in the city. Highly recommend for toys and collectible items like trains or board games. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

Store associate is a bit much following you around the store. Some things are pricey compared to Amazon but it's a generally neat experience.

An awesome gem of a toy store, and they have a solid selection of trains and kits on the second floor hobby store.

Owner is not very pleasant. Very rude to what seemed to be his only employee. No wonder there’s help wanted signs plastered all over the front door. I think it’s time to retire and move on. You own a toy store for gods sake. It should be much of a better experience. Let’s cheer up a bit and maybe treat the employees like humans and not your slave to belittle around.

Very rude staff. Make sure to check what you're buying wasn't already returned, opened and dirty.

Classic Pittsburgh experience. Great place to take children and buy presents! This location has so many floors and the building itself is beautiful. The staff is always friendly and nice. My favorite floor is the one with all the puzzles!

Nice building, wide selection and a pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately the markup on nearly everything is OBSCENE. In particular, every single item on the Lego shelf has its price inflated by anywhere from 20-60%. For instance they have the current Batman Tumbler for $350, where it generally retails for about $220. They do have some rare and retired items in the store, sure, but most of it is current things you can buy from many other retailers without paying nearly as much.
