AlphaGraphics was the best partner to work with for 2 last minute printing jobs needed for an event. I contacted them on a Monday and by Friday they had hand delivered 2 custom printing jobs. "I miss the honky tonks/Dairy Queens, and 7-Elevens/You got it, you got it." No the irony of Mr. David Byrne's lyrics are not lost upon me. I get the satiric jib he was making at such places. But occasionally in a post-apocalyptic world I'd wonder what I'd do when my blood sugars ran low and I needed a quick snack or if I needed a quick cup of coffee in order to resume human female form. I had to go to another off-site meeting and fortunately this 7-Eleven had real coffee in the real coffee pot. I had an unfortunate experience at another store in which someone put decaf in the regular pot. Gack!

This 7-Eleven is conveniently located at the corner of Penn and 6th - so if you are staying at the Pittsburgh Renaissance Hotel just down the street - it's close. That's about the only good thing you can say about this place, although I will say the poor guy working behind the counter was very friendly. Not sure what is going on with so many Pittsburgh businesses - but quite a number of them don't seem to know what air conditioning is. This 7-11 was a sauna - it must have been 85 degrees inside. I commented on it - the guy was not thrilled that it was so hot inside. They don't accept American Express here. So it's cash, Visa or MC. And this location does not stay open very late. I think it was after 10:00 pm when I attempted to go back for something I forgot - and the place was already closed. Fix the damn AC!
