They installed a bum alternator in my vehicle. I took it back the next day since I felt that the air-conditioning was off and something was wrong with the power. They had it for, quite literally, all of 20 minutes, when they called me back and told me there was nothing wrong with my car. Suffice it to say, it was a bad alternator, and I found better service at another mechanic who took my concerns seriously.

My Tire sensor system wasn’t working. Was Told a new Tire sensor would fix my problem and they would order me new one. Stopped back 3 times until they finally ordered part. Once Tire sensor was installed still showed as not working. Refused to issue refund. May consider going to magistrate to seek remedy

Needed an inspection and oil change, but my regular mechanic just retired so I figured I’d bring my car to the nearest spot for now. Big mistake! They told me I needed all new brakes and rotors to pass inspection and quoted me a little over $1000. That didn’t sound right to me so I called around and decided to bite the bullet and take my car across town to a recommended spot. Mechanic calls and asks “is there a reason you want all new brakes and rotors?”, I tell him the spot up the street told me I needed them to pass inspection. He nearly spat his coffee out- my front brakes and rotors were like new (rotors were still factory since it’s a low mileage vehicle). He said my back brakes and rotors were more worn than the front but that he would happily pass the car as is and recommend new brakes in a year or two. He felt it was so egregious that he asked me who told me I needed new brakes and rotors- don’t go to Lifetime!!! Save yourself the trouble and go to Allegheny Motors in Etna.

I have used Lifetime Auto twice in the last 6 months. Both times they fixed my car in one day. Prices are very reasonable and the staff is welcoming.

Took a full two days for them to get to me for a flat tire. Was not forthcoming with updates beyond “we will call you when it is done.”

All I needed was a simple alignment and was told it would take an hour. 3 hours later, it was ready. A couple days later, the problem came back worse. They tried blaming it on my tires (which are not that bad) I took it to another shop (because I didn't want these clowns touching my car again). The other auto shop showed me that they didn't even tighten everything down! Dangerous! Stay away from this place!!

I needed to do a State Inspection on my car and went here. It took a few days for a control arm replacement and costed $1000+ which is alittle ridiculous. The next day I drove my car up to Buffalo for a job and the ride there wasn’t pleasant at all. Steering Issues, Lights blinking about my car is in ruff shape and louder than normal. Which angered me and could’ve got me into a accident. Luckily I made it up to Buffalo and back which is good but this place just messes up your car!Service: Steering & suspension repair

THIS PLACE SHOULD BE CALLED CLOWNTIME AUTOMOTIVE!I got my inspection done here last week and they told me my Subaru needed new control arms. I questioned if it really did, but told them to swap them along with 3 windshield wipers and some lights. I pick it up at the end of the day on a Friday. I drive it to get a pizza and home for two miles. I get home and notice the windshield wiper has not been replaced and is still the old worn-out one. I call in to ask why they didn't change the wiper and nobody answered. The next day on Saturday I have a job in Ohio I do occasionally on weekends that I had to leave first thing in the morning for. On the way there my car is loud, making noises, and 5 diagnostic lights came on. I was in a pickle trying to get to work while my car is acting all funny. I called Clowntime Automotive 3 times and they never returned my calls. I finally get it home and take it to another Mechanic Monday. They said whoever changed the control arms didn't put the axle nuts on properly causing my axle to tear into the wheel bearing causing over 1K in damage. They also broke two sensors and stretched wires to the control arms. They also said I was lucky to make it back as my wheel could have fallen off on the highway. I tried to call Clowntime and they won't return my calls. They caused major damage to my car after they were to inspect it to make it safe for PA roads.I will have to fight these clowns in court now for the damages to my car as well as a 20-dollar windshield wiper they charged me for and never gave me if they don't offer me a refund for their work. This place is SHADY AND CLOWNY. Why is this mechanic allowed to inspect cars if they make them more dangerous? I am also contacting the PA AG, and the State Safety Inspection Program is also hearing. I already googled them to see how to submit a complaint. This Clown should not be inspecting cars that put people's lives in jeopardy.

ruined my motor because of sheer stupidity and even drove it around the block and still didnt realize their error, then denied responsibility and told me not to worry its under warranty, minus as many stars as possible. It took me 15weeks to get my vehicle back because of warranty hassles, parts issues etc....only stopped cause i need an inspection how awfully ironic that ended up for me.
