They are friendly and quick. I've been dropping off shirts for about 5 years. They are great fixing loose or chipped buttons and I've never had an issue with my shirts. Now that I no longer live downtown, I go out of my way to take my shirts here.

I will admit I'm biased - the owner is a sweet woman and hate seeing these reviews trashing her business. I've used Galardi's twice now and she's been great with my clothes - even got cat pee smell out of a comforter. They didn't smell like cigarettes either so not sure what those comments were about. I'm now a regular customer and appreciate the work they do.

I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Galardi's did pickup and drop-off within the downtown area. After a year of using them, I have nothing but praise.Most of all I am impressed by how well they recently handled what had been a big challenge in the past with other cleaners. I do historical reenactment and recreation as a hobby including tailoring my own clothing. After two weeks of camping at the historical recreation society's largest annual event, which is not easy on the clothing; from the campfire smoke to the sweat from the summer heat. Galardi's assured me that they handled cleaning for the local theaters and that they would call if there were any questions. For the first time I didn't have to struggle to find a dry cleaner that would even accept this clothing and then go through the tedious process of explaining what the modern equivalent of each garment. There were no phone calls for clarification, and within 48 hours I had everything. Everything including hand sewn leather, brocades, and hand dyed silk was all clean and properly steamed/ironed as appropriate.Service: Delivery

My husband noticed his groomsman suit had a stain on the shoulder the night before we drove to Pittsburgh. The hotel recommended this dry cleaners, and they were fantastic. They got the stain out of the suit within 5 minutes and were so accommodating. Highly recommend for any dry cleaning needs

I came in town for a friend’s wedding and needed my groomsmen tux pressed ASAP! The staff at Galardi’s stayed past closing time to help me out and they were SO KIND ❤️ Truly a great introduction to Pittsburgh hospitality. And my tux looked great! Thanks again guys!!!Service: Alterations

I’ve used them for the last several years due to my apartment building have an agreement with them, but unfortunately I won’t be able to use them again. As others have mentioned, their prices have gone way up and the quality has been poor. It almost feels like they give it a once over and that’s it. I spent $18 to have a single coat dry-cleaned and they didn’t even touch the inside and left it dirtier than I sent it. It also came back feeling crunchy, when coats are supposed to be supple.

Possibly one of the worst customer service experiences of my life. I called on a Wednesday morning to see if I would be able to get some dry cleaning returned by the end of business Thursday (I needed the items first thing in the morning Friday). Because I knew it might be difficult and I was admittedly making the request with short notice, I made sure to use a nice tone when I asked my question. After speaking to a man, the phone was handed to a woman who asked me what I wanted with the same tone a 16-year-old would use if you asked them to take out the trash. Again, using a cheery tone, I repeated my question. The woman proceeded to list reasons why she was inconvenienced by me asking her to complete a service her business offers and why they would be unable to fulfill my request (short staffed, weather, business was going to be closed the next day, etc.). After listening to what she had to say, I said, "Ok, I understand. I'll try somewhere else" and hung up the phone (again, making sure I used a nice tone). Several seconds later, I got a call back from the woman, who proceeded to leave me a voice mail, saying that I hung up on her (not true. I made a request. The request was denied. Conversation over.) and telling me that I "did not have to be so rude"...and then she called me rude again in the next sentence. I get that everyone has bad days, and I would have been willing to look past the conversation and use their services again if she had not called me back and left me a voicemail to tell me that I was being rude.I've used this business in the past, and they do an average job with the dry cleaning. The prices are a bit high, but they had a convenient location for me. However, I won't be using them again. I could not believe that an employee or business owner would speak to a customer (who had spent hundreds of dollars at their business and was planning to spend more) that way and then actually call them back to claim that the customer was the rude one in this situation. There are plenty of other dry cleaners in the area who do a good job and aren't mean to their customers.

It's so wonderful to have a cleaners close to where I work. They did a beautiful job cleaning my coat before my trip to Colorado. We always use Gilardi's for our dry cleaning needs. The lady (sorry I don't know her name) that works at the front counter is so friendly and helpful. It was so nice talking to her!

I spent so much time researching dry cleaning places for my beloved down winter coat, and came across this place. The location is super convenient and close to my work. They did an AMAZING job with my coat and I will definitely be coming back. They are also friendly- 5 stars!

Location is excellent, in the heart of downtown.There is one young lady there that is extremely nice, the rest are decent. Prices were a bit of a surprise, expensive. Location is very old and they do an OK job.Now I admittedly didn't complain, but they put 2 holes in my $110 shirt. I don't put the price up to say it's super expensive, but now I have to replace it. Perhaps they would have reimbursed me, but something tells me they wouldn't have.Edit: For clarity, I don't have any issues with moths. Mistakes happen, I won't be back. Be well.
