Great toy store for Montessori parents and children! We love to bring our son in and the owner is very friendly and welcoming each time. There's a variety of books, toys, stuffed animals, crafts, etc. for kids of all ages.

Excellent toy store at 4747! Beautiful interior, very sweet owner/staff. Good prices. Very well stocked. Lots to choose from too. Highly recommend going here first to find some unique gift ideas not only for children but also for us older folk. They even have cards and some fun home items. Ask the owner about their amazing restoration of this wonderful old Pittsburgh building too. It's a fun must to visit! Plus it's right across the beautiful, historical park like Allegheny Cemetery (another must visit any time in Lawrenceville. Shop local, shop small mom n pop businesses!!!

Cute toy shop in Lawrenceville. They appear to focus on offering quailty toys that are built for a lifetime. Many toys are wooden and would appeal to those looking for Montessori inspired gifts. There is a wide selection of toys but most are for kids in the younger age range (0-6 years). The shop owner was very friendly. If you are looking for a gift for a child definitely stop in and see what they have to offer.

Two times in the past two years I have gone out of my way to shop here and they were not open within their posted hours.I can’t believe this is just a coincidence. Definitely call before you waste your time, they are unreliable.

Read an article in the City Paper online this morning. The store is just around the corner from my home. Dragonfly was featured in the article. My 41 yr old Daughter, who lives in AZ is a collector of Andy Warhol, and when I saw the Andy Doll, I had to get it for her. I'll be fly ing to AZ in less than 2 weeks, to visit my family and friends and share with all at my Granddaughter's wedding! I was fortunate to get the only Andy in stock!!! Shop Local

This is my go to store for all gifts for children of all ages. No batteries or electronics here - plenty of well-crafted, heirloom quality toys, books, games, creative kits and much more. Well-organized but packed with treasures in every price point, this little gem of a store boasts an extra knowledgeable proprietor, chock-full of age and interest specific recommendations for all the littles in your life! Conveniently located on Lawrenceville's Butler Street, right across from Allegheny Cemetery. Free street parking as well.I was Christmas shopping for a 9 year old and an 8 week old. My haul included books, a wind up music box, a gorgeous handmade taggie blanket, a build your own robotic arm kit, and a few other smaller items.I've been shopping here for nine years - and every gift I've purchased has been received with delight. The 8 week old will soon be enjoying some items I bought for her 9 year old brother when he was born!
