I just had my vehicle stored in a closed unit at Whitehorse Self Storage for the winter. After picking the car up, the check engine light was on because of rodent damage to the wiring system in the car. After contacting the owner about the cost of the repair, he apologized but reminded me that I am responsible for my own property. Cannot recommend this facility.

Only 1 star rating for these frauds. I was not able to make my payments and my unit was sold. Fair is fair and I was extremely upset but accepted it. However, I was asked what I was upset about specifically. My entire life was in that unit as I have been in and out of the hospital for the last two years Cancer (which they were fully aware of). I told him that All I care about is the safe. He then asks what was in the safe. I told him there were important docs and birth certs in it.I immediately was taken aback by this unusual question especially since he had just informed me, very rudely, that my unit was sold two weeks prior and that it was my own fault because I was no where to be found. We won't get into that because as I said before, I accepted that. He tells me that he will call the person who purchased the unit to "see" if he still had it. By some miracle he still had it, after two damn weeks and he would get back to me when the guy was able to drop it off. But I had to pay $100 cash to get it back. This sounds so shady...and really made me wonder if he really sold it. Or if he just kept it, couldnt open the safe (btw it was unlocked but the handle broke some time ago so it's difficult to open) and expected some expensive items to be in there since my unit was filled with many expensive items. Needless to say, once he heard it was measley little documents then all of a sudden the safe is immediately available for $100. THESE PPL WILL GET KARMA BACK TENFOLD. Material things don't make me. But karma is tit for tat. And will make these ppl think before taking advantage of someone else's misfortune. Careful karma comes after your grandkids too! Just wait for it. Let's hope one of those beautiful grandkids you have pictures of doesn't get cancer and someone doesn't take advantage of their misfortune. I stand firm. You WILL get this back.

The staff is incredibly friendly, prices are the best around, and I love the security of this unit and the fact that I can access my unit 24 hours/day. Plus they have two large carts on store to move things stupid which is very helpful!

The people at Whitehorse Self Storage could not be any nicer. I had a real problem with the way the movers piled in my boxes on top of my furniture. Dave and Bob were right there taking boxes out to help me rearrange everything. Really nice men helping me. Reasonable rates for excellent quality service. Over the last few years I have rented storage units and this one is convenient, extremely clean and well run.
