They tried to cancel the morning of “due to thunderstorms”. After physically going to their fake office at 1735 market (which does not exist) I frantically called them and they showed up about 3 hours late. The movers themselves were nice guys and fine but the company is a bunch of scam artists and should not be in business.

SCAM SCAM SCAM!!! If I could give a negative rating I would. Looks like I had the same experience as others who commented. It angers me to think about this company and the unprofessionalism that they have. My best recommendation is to MOVE ON!

I am very happy with Prestige's service. Leading up to move day, they responded quickly each time I reached out to them with questions. Move went smoothly as planned. They were careful with my belongings, mindful of delicate feet on furniture and not to scratch the walls. They moved the contents of a one bedroom apartment from a storage unit to my new apartment in 2 hours. That included the 20 minute travel time. Quintin and his crew provided great professional service. Will use them again!

I scheduled Prestige movers for a move and they never showed up. I called the office number numerous times and kept getting the same message "We're away from our desk right now but leave a message and someone will get back to you within 20 mins." I still haven't heard from them. I also emailed the person that sent me the estimate and received a bounce back email saying that the email doesn't exist.

Excellent communication when they are giving you a quote. Then you sign what is supposed to be a "binding contract." I sent pictures and exact measurements for 5 items when signing this binding contract. Movers now say it's "larger cubic square feet than expected" despite the precise measurements and weight provided. Classic bait and switch. Zero communication once you are expecting your furniture. Do not trust this company.

Although Prestige Movers showed up on time and had friendly workers, the movers were quite slow, at times taking very long smoke breaks outside. My boyfriend, his brother, and I were all helping with the move to expedite the process, but they seemed to be dragging their feet, likely in an attempt to lengthen the move and increase the price (with the exception of one young worker, who was wonderful).
Additionally, the movers dropped a wooden desk and tried to act like it had previously been broken. (It was in 100% perfect condition.) I have called and emailed Fred and the company many times regarding the insurance claim for the broken desk, as well as a power drill that went missing, and no one has returned my calls or emails. Their voicemail says that someone will return your call within 20 minutes, but it has been over a week, and no one has returned my calls or emails. Very frustrating. :-(
I also visited their "location" at 1735 Market Street, Suite 3750 -- and not surprisingly, they don't actually an office at that location. Additionally, I learned that Prestige Movers is not a licensed moving company. In other words, they should be shut down. Immediately.

Worst moving experience ever. Never showed for first scheduled date, without warning or notice until I called them - completely stood us up. Promised priority service to reschedule and showed up an hour and half late on rescheduled date. Arrived with no equipment and had to borrow carts and dollies at both ends of move. Moved fully loaded dresser (probably 600lbs) vertically on it's side and transported in truck on it's back. Took an hour to load 4 pieces of furniture. Damaged 2 pieces. Initially miscalculated invoice. I have coordinated many moves and never encountered such ineptness from reservation, customer service and moving personnel . DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY despite their competitive rates. Look elsewhere to save time, money and frustration.

love working with prestige movers, we moved our office from Philadelphia to next block, there was 4 men and 2 trucks, they made sure all of the offices are broken down and wrapped. Fred came out for an estimate and he gave us a great price, The end result was no damage and the estimate rate was the same as actual price we paid. Thank you Prestige
