Jim is a fantastic instructor, he explained each step very clearly but also gave you space to create by yourself. Being an art teacher myself & my hubby a scientist, we found the process so interesting & have some lovely additions for our Christmas tree which we will use for years to come. A wonderful experience overall!

Jim made this a wonderful experience! He is very knowledgeable and so down to earth which made any nerves quickly disappear. Jim was very patient and helped guide us at each step. We would definitely go back for another class of his!

I was gifted a Groupon for Jim's introductory class and it was such a fun experience! Jim is great to work with and makes you feel like a pro at using a badass torch. Definitely recommend!

Awesome experience!! My boyfriend and I have never done glassblowing and Jim was so patient with us. Took his time explaining each step, got to choose the pieces and colors we wanted to make and then we both got a bunch of hands on time. Great for a date night but if we lived closer we would definitely do more classes!

What an amazing experience! Jim is such a patient and relaxed teacher and helps make you feel confident about your ability to create unique pieces even if it’s your very first time! His demonstration and then follow up by instructing you along the way is the perfect mix of learning and doing. We were so impressed with how hands on you get to be right away and were shocked we got to walk away with SIX pieces of art - two solid pendants and four blown ornaments! Jim even recommended a great restaurant to check out for dinner after - it was a perfect evening. Truly blown (?) away by the experience and would recommend to anyone!

I misunderstood G-Maps as there doesn't appear to be an : 'By Appt. Only' option in Biz Hrs.So I called and the Man, the myth, the #Legend He answered his own phone. Jim was kind & gracious as he informed; that it is not an "open shop" to the inquisitive public, however Appointments for lessons Or Consultations may be scheduled for glass art students.

Jim is a very patient and knowledgeable teacher. The class was fun and a great introduction to glasswork. It's harder than it looks and some parts I could not do without his assistance, but he helped me in a way that made me feel like I was still doing the task myself. I really appreciated that. & He shipped my item to me within a week! I would take one of his classes again and recommend them to anyone interested in glass art.

This class was amazing, as was Jim. Bought the groupon months ago then COVID hit. He was incredibly flexible and extended the expiration without even asking. During the class, he was knowledgeable and just a great teacher; very patient as well as respectful of distancing and wearing a mask. an incredibly fun time; Jim was absolutely terrific and I highly highly recommend his class, and his work.

We took a class with Jim and it was a wonderful experience. I bought a gift card for my sisters and we enjoyed the class so much and the time together. I made a wonderful piece that I use as a necklace, and another wonderful piece I use as decoration in my home. Can’t recommend gym enough.

Jim's class is so fun and coming home with a piece that you made is great. I bought a GC for my sisters and we had the best time. Jim is laid back and a great teacher. I love what I made and hang one piece on my window and use the other as a necklace. This is a great time for a date night or something fun to do.

Visited the studio while in town on vacation. Jim was great to work with and fun to watch his skill. Definitely worth visiting and getting something to take home. Ended up buying several ornaments including ones he made for us while in studio.
