Went to 12th & Chestnut Street location, to purchase 2 phones that are available when I arrived to purchase them. The guy Alex behind the counter immediately asked for the last- 4 digits of my social security number. He stated that's what they do now with that being the "Top Main Branch of Boost Mobile." He kept typing fast and repeatedly asking for my last -4 of my social, then asked for my License, claiming trouble getting my information to work properly. Then quickly went the door behind him, I thought he was going to get the phones, but came out with my license in his hand. I asked why did he take my license in that backroom? He claimed, he was trying to get it to work. He had HIS, cell phone in there. Ready to leave, I told him to give me my license, my daughter is waiting in the car. Alex told me to go get my daughter's ID, so he can use that too. I never got ant cell phones, he never even showed any cell phones to me. This was in March 2024, I called "Boost Mobile Corporate Office" and reported Alex, the date & time. Now it is now the middle of April 2024, No one reached/contacted me about that "Scamming Situation."

Sadly probably one of the best locations in the city. That being said; I went in for an upgrade, cash in hand. Thought it would be an easy ordeal, was really excited to get a nice new phone finally after working hard. Something happened w the new SIM; I was told to go back the next day. I eneded up repeating this process on basically every day I had available, spending sometimes an hour in the store while the poor employees tried w their boss and support. I requested multiple times to have the manager contact me, he never did. I somehow lost my upgrade in the process, had to just give in and buy a Walmart phone to have one, and feel somehow as though I was taken advantage of. Do NOT recommend this store, nor Boost mobile at all. I'll be switching myself, very soon.

I visited this awesome store location yesterday. The associate was extremely, professional, and friendly ? She answered all my questions about the plans and becoming a boost mobile customer.Thank you ?

My gf lost her cell phone the second day of a visit to Philly. We went to this store the next day to get a new phone. We got there at opening and they were closed. We waited I think another 15 or 20 minutes for them to open then left to go to a museum and went back later in the day when they were finally open.The 2 staff members that helped us that day were incredibly amazing and helpful. We were not expecting that from a boost store since the one we visit where we live has such terrible customer service. They helped us get a phone, cancel the other one, and set the new one up to my plan.The next day, we got a message to my phone that someone had found our other phone and wanted to return it. (Seriously!) A homeless kid had found it, carried it around for several hours, then took it back to his friend at their campsite later that night. The phone was dead by then so they charged it all night and contacted us in the morning. We met them in a park and gave them some cash, they were such nice kids.We went back to the boost store with this incredible tale and they returned the phone we had just bought the day before even though I couldn't find the receipt. They went to the trouble of looking us up on the security footage and finding the receipt in their database. Then waited while I contacted my credit card company when the return wouldn't go through.I would 10/10 recommend this store. I wish even one of the four people we dealt with worked at our local store.

Boost mobile offers a 35.00 plan which I had forever. But they don’t support the new iPhone. Store is clean, staff was helpful.
