I recently took my Labrador there for a checkup and updated shots. Dr Kistler was fantastic with my highly energetic puppy. He calmed him down right away and explained what I had to do in order to get the dog to listen. Within 10 minutes he transformed my energetic puppy into a semi well-behaved dog. He is the dog whisper. The lady in the front of the hospital was very courteous and happy to help me with my payment, insurance and scheduling. I will be taking my dog here for his care and hopefully daycare needs. GREAT PLACE AND GREAT PEOPLE.

Money not an issue ever for Max...Nor is another visit to get him right but itDefinitely should have be free after returning the day after because front nails weren't trimmed.Wasn't looking for anything extra just the service we expected.... two trips later....

I found this place 35 years ago just after Dr Kistler opened it and have never taken any of my animals anywhere else. The other Dr's there and his staff are simply the best. Everything is explained in full, the animals are the patients and they are treated with the utmost respect. You can trust everything they say without a shadow of a doubt. Even after moving, I now drive an hour just to go there and it's worth every mile. I will never go anywhere else. Thank you to all who make Runaway Farms the best care around.

Wonderful veterinarian for our 2 dogs. The staff is welcoming and very personable. They really care about our pets! We live about 30 minutes away and it is worth the drive. Great communication.

I have been taking my fur babies to Runaway for years. I’ve always had a good experience with the Docs and Staff at Runaway. They’ve seen four of my pets from a puppy or kitten, until they’ve crossed the rainbow bridge.I lost my 16 year old beagle, Maggie, in Nov 2022…and Dr Dave sat on the floor with me and my baby until she passed. We both cried…it was comforting to see he loved Maggie as much as I did.Dr Kistler has been my primary vet since the late 80s and he puts my pet (and me) at ease…shows me what to do to tend to injuries and says…”If you need anything, give us a call”….which lots of places always say…but I’ve needed to make that call to Runaway through the years, and someone always takes the call or calls me back quickly.Thanks Runaway for being a great caregiver to all of my fur babies!!!!

I can't say enough great things about this vet office. They treat u and your animals like family and genuinely care about the well being of your fur babies.Dr Kistler really went above and beyond making sure my boy came home healthy after a urinary block.He could have sent him home and risked an emergency vet visit somewhere else, but he worked with me and my kitty. He came in on his day off to make sure my boy was safe to come home. Thank you so much.On top of the amazing service, this animal hospital does not price gage and offered very fair and reasonable prices. They understand that our pets are our family and they are not out to rake you over the coals. They really do care. .I have been bringing my fur babies hear for a few years and I intend on coming here t he rest of our days. I've have 2 babies put to sleep here due to severe illness and the compassion and understanding they have in those moments was mind blowing as well.My animals and I appreciate you!

The staff are friendly and caring.They have separate waiting rooms for dogs and cats!My ginger cat was permitted to roam all around the exam room. He very comfortable there.Excellent affordable care for beloved pets.I love the interior design as well. Would enjoy just haning out there. Lol.Park and walk past the shop. Go around the corner of the building, see a porch roof and go in there. Thats the entrance to the Vet's Office.There are small signs to follow but I didn't notice them until I had asked at the shop for directions.

Finding the right vet is as important as finding a Dr ,Dentist, Hairdresser etc for yourself and family. Runaway Farm Pet Hospital is Perfect. Right from the start the receptionist , vet tech, and the Doctors are … caring, attentive, friendly, and kind! The office it self is clean , and has a separate area for cats and dogs .Thank you so very much for excellent care of my dogs!
