“I worked out at CFA while visiting Pittsburgh with my wife in August 2024. Overall a great facility in an historic building in South Side Flats: the New Brewhouse 1950, a part of the once thriving Duquesne Brewery Company. CFA has lots of floor space, rig room and equipment. Good parking on the street. This is a warehouse box: old industrial with big garage doors. (My only criticism is that the floor is slightly uneven, but this is unsurprising given the heritage of the building and a small quibble). While we attended an open gym slot, the coach on staff that day, Dylan, was very helpful, assisting my wife with her bespoke HYROX training plan. He ensured that a sled was available and provided my wife with a good space outside to push it as well as coaching tips. I will be back next time I am in the Steel City. Four of five stars only because I didn't attend a regular class and can't comment on the quality of the coaching. Otherwise, I strongly recommend.”

The gym is clean, well maintained with a wide array of equipments to suit your needs.Also, Sameer is an amazing manager who is always willing to help you with anything and makes good small talks. “Love love love Level Red Boxing. Finally took the leap a few months ago to try a class. I’ve been going once a week since due to living further north. Erin was super helpful after my first class. She reached out the following day to see if I had any questions and thank us for joining.All of the instructors are great. Seeing as we don’t have a consistent day to go we’ve rotated through a handful. They all have their own unique style and vibe which I love.Great atmosphere and workout if you’re looking to try something new! ??? i usually do the 60 minute class and its a great combination of cardio, boxing, kettlebells and core. Total body workout, who doesn’t love that!”

“As a collegiate athlete looking to find a way to get back in shape; once college was over. I found Rugged Peaks to be the best decision I have made. It gives you the challenge needed to reach your goals and there are many events that can bring your competitive edge out again (however that's not the main focus). The community within the gym is super supportive and the owners are willing to work with you at any point of your fitness journey. I find myself needing to modify some of the workouts; Adam and Jamie, are always helpful and knowledgeable of ways you can still get an effective workout even if you need to modify. My confidence in myself and just overall boost of energy throughout my day to day has increased significantly since I made the leap to get back into fitness. I think its also super important to keep in mind, that even though CrossFit is intimidating it truly is for people at all stages of their fitness journey. I love how the main aspect of CrossFit is to ensure that your movements are correct, in aims to limit injuries.”

“Based on my experience with Anthony and Mason at Harts Run Fitness, I can confidently say that they are excellent trainers who are dedicated to helping their clients achieve their fitness goals. I approached Anthony almost an year back with severe low back pain, labrum injury and hip impingement syndrome. I found his knowledge and expertise in fitness and exercise exceptional. Until then, my doctors and physical therapists were working on symptom control and planning to consider surgical options if it doesn't work, Anthony talked to me about making me stronger and working on my overall fitness and goals.He created personalized workout plans that catered to my specific needs. He also made me understand proper form and technique, which was essential for ensuring that I got the most out of my workouts. I am glad to say that six months down the line I felt much better and my symptoms were completely under control. I have also seen so many other success stories of their clients and I also learned to prioritize my fitness above everything else.In addition to their technical skills, they are also great motivators. They are always positive and encouraging, which helps to create a supportive and uplifting atmosphere in the gym.Overall, I would highly recommend this gym and Anthony and Mason as trainers to anyone looking for experienced, knowledgeable, and motivating trainers who can help them reach their fitness goals.”

“My granddaughter is taking swimming lessons here. EVERY instructor not only wants her to learn to swim but is so attentive, encourages, and praises her. And to me too, as I watch the progress she's made. Awesome people there! A girl who was afraid of water can't wait to go each week!
Besides swimming classes, they offer family memberships and have great exercise programs for seniors, including yoga, spinning, and more. It is an amazing place with amazing people. “I took up pole dancing for health and wellness reasons. I do not like gyms. This has been a wonderful fit for me. Everyone is so positive and encouraging. I took Level 1 and 2 with Mysti. She is a wonderful teacher and clearly explains dance moves, positions, and steps. I love Sunday floor work and twerk classes with Deneese. It's like being at a pep rally. We all cheer each other. I got a membership a few days ago. I can't wait to learn more!”

“During our visit to see our family in The States we needed a gym for my family and I to workout during our stay.This gym has everything you need for a great workout, whether you’re into lifting weights, doing cardio or functional training all are covered. The gym is maintained well and it is very clean, which I find to be important.What truly makes this gym a great place is the owner. He was very welcoming when we came to check out the gym and told him we needed a place to workout at during our stay. He was there to see to our needs and gave us a tour around the gym.We’ve had a great experience working out at Fitness Werqs and will definitely be coming back on our next visit to The States.”

“Leap fitness is one of the best gym in this area. I have been going to leap for a long time now and the owner josh is always making it a bigger and better place. The gym is always kept clean and very organized. It’s a 3 story gym and everything is seperated for what you are there to do from free weights down stairs to cardio and more machines on the main floor to the ultimate spin studio on the 3rd floor. I highly recommend going to leap fitness center and the owner is very knowledgeable and will help you out with anything you need.”

“Great facility, fair (if not cheap for Crossfit) prices, and most importantly, fantastic people. The owners, the other coaches, and the athletes are friendly and helpful. There are elite level athletes, but the community is equally welcoming to beginners like me just trying to stay healthy.I don't go anymore, but I was passing back through town and recalled the great experiences I had here. Of the six boxes I've been a member of over the years, I think of Crossfit Pittsburgh as the standard to meet.”

“This is a personalized gym setting. There is no office desk to deal with. Kadee, the owner, is accommodating to your needs, respectful, and easy to deal with. Everybody is friendly. Despite its small size, you have all the cardio and strength equipment you need to get a great workout. You don't have to deal with heavy foot traffic and fight over machines. Great gym and atmosphere!”
